I can't say enough about the Amazon echo! I can't believe for under $200 you not only get a high quality speaker but a smart home speaker. You don't have to be right on top of the speaker in order for it to understand you. I can be all the way down the hall or in another room and it understands what I'm saying. I have amazon music hooked up to it and its so nice being able to call out to "Alexa" to play any song I want. For you "techy" people, I also recommend this product. I have slowly been hooking up my entire house to her. Forget setting up a touch device to control the lights in your house. Alexa is more than capable of doing. You do need to purchase additional items in order to do so, but well worth it. I thoroughly enjoy this product and I bought the dot as well to accompany the echo.

Alexa is very good a quickly satisfying your music requests. The whole interface is novel and interesting to use and for guests who have not encountered Alexa previously. Sound quality is good but not top shelf. I purchased one for our son and son-in-law for Fathers Day. Finally about 3 weeks ago we bought one for ourselves. Net: worth purchasing.

I purchased this product for my kids over the holidays. I've been very impressed with the things you can do with it. Among other things, I enjoy using it for listening to music, checking the morning weather, or as a simple kitchen timer.

Alexa, where have you've been all of my life? I love the Echo. I have one in nearly every room of the house. The sound is amazing and it's great being able to get information, just by asking questions. It even turns my lights on and off.

I initially went to buy a speaker just to listen to music around the house but I was talked into getting this instead. Best choice ever! Not only do I listen to my music I also play games, listen to all the unusual facts she spews out, I ask her questions when I'm trying to cheat on my jeopardy game on my phone, I use it as a reminder for all my shopping items that randomly come to my mind everyday! I literally take her everywhere I can connect to wifi! I don't have anything negative to say other than I kinda wish it was portable and didn't have to be plugged in everywhere but I guess that's what the tap is for right ? I would recommend 100%! Also fun fact I love when a commercial comes on about the product and she hears her name she responds it was quite funny when it initially happened!

I did not know what to expect when I bought this, but after getting it home and experimenting, it was very helpful and my eight year old loves it. There are so many things Alexa can do, only limited by your imagination. We love it!

This is one of the first products that I have purchased that works better than promised, It integrates with just about all home automation and is a great source of news and local information. It is so easy to use my wife even uses it....

Amazon echo just keeps getting better and better. It now works with my Lowe's Iris smart home automation. It dims lights, turns off TVs and so much more. It also works with many other home automation devices with means more to expand with.

I ended up buying the Echo on sale. I was thrilled once Alexa was set up, which by the way is easy. I just bought another one on sale and gave it as a gift. A must have for sure if you like technology, Alexa is helpful and a lot of fun.

Great little gadget, works well with my smart home. I can now turn on lights, etc. with voice commands. Feels like Star Trek! Love how Alexa plays music as well, and she understands most commands. It's fun to have a digital assistant around!

The full size echo sounds great and is responsive. Setup is easy. I use it with Phillips Hue and Plum light pad. Works well. New "drop in" feature allows me to use the full size Echo, Echo Dot and Echo Show as intercom units.

Love the Amazon Echo! Have two plus a Dot. Alexa app versatile.

Who knew you could ask a smart device (other than our phone) sitting on your table the weather, play whatever music you want, last nights final sport scores etc and you get a pleasant reply promptly. A fun gadget for todays lifestyles.

Amazon Echo is easy to use and provides a fun aspect to its application. Am looking forward to expanding to its use with home smart devices. Only downside is with a grandchild named Alexis, not being able to rename is a bit problematic.

Very simple to set up and use, but positioning in your home is a matter of trial and error so that it can hear commands from all locations. Voice recognition is uncertain at first but the software algorithms learn quite quickly. Very good for streaming radio as the sound quality is quite good for such a small device. Highly recommended.

I purchased this as a gift after using this at another home. I have also tried similar products and I feel that this has the most interactive user interface. It continually is learning and has good sound quality for what we use it for.

We love the Amazon Echo! The speakers sound great and it's so easy to ask for Alexa to play my music when I'm cooking, cleaning, etc. It's fun discovering all of the things she can do. We can't wait to get another one (or two.)

I bought these for my nieces at Christmas -- I got an 'echo dot' for myself. These are SO cool. I added a wifi lamp switch. I can turn the light on/off, get the weather report, have music played ... all with my VOICE !! crazy cool ...
