I thought this would be good for my mother who cooks in the kitchen, and boy was I right! She uses it all the time to play music, set timers, and much more. Extremely satisfied with this purchase.

I bought this for my grandparents and the LOVE it! They are amazed that they can ask Alexa to play a certain song or singer and they love to get info about the news. Highly recommend!

We resisted this home smart technology for years, and now I don’t know why. We use Alexa all throughout the day for weather, news, questions, family games, music, you name it!

This item is great for music but you must have Amazon prime for that. As for weather, time, and such curious questions about parts of this earth it is fun but any other questions my smart phone is much better. I have this item and two dots, the 3rd generation dot is much improved but the echo 2nd still sounds better.

Loved my Alexa so much, I got one for my mom, too! Easily control lights, etc with just your voice or the app from anywhere in the world! She’s great entertainment at parties, too!

I have one in my room. The other my daughter use in her room. We are able to use when we want to. Her commands go through when I’m using mines. Great product.

Where to begin here. Well first off let me start off by saying there is just about everything that Alexa can do for you in your home. The most attractive being the home automation aspect of her capabilties. If you purchase devices with built in control via wireless network then Alexa can control it all, with compatibility of course. Tell Alexa to turn your lights off, control the air conditioning or heat, lock your doors, turn outlets off and attached devices, and even control your amazon streaming device connected to your TV. Along with this capability Alexa has a whole slue of commands that you can ask her and the list gets added to almost daily. She can even talk to Google Home lol.

A great piece of technology That is easy to use and easy to set up with the minutes. Any other Wi-Fi items you want echo to take over you need to download the app on your smart phone.

I reluctantly bought the echo dot, I quickly realized how helpful this gadget could be, so I got the Echo 2 weeks later. So impressed I’m looking to add another in the living room.

We love our Alexa, the only thing is she doesnt seem to know as much as commercials show she does. But very happy nonetheless.

This was a surprise gift to my father in law for Christmas. He has loved it so far. Checks the weather, plays his favorite music, makes phone calls, sets reminders, and so much more.

We’re not a tech savvy family, but the ECHO is great. Alexa likes to randomly talk sometimes, and it’s a lot creepy, but she’s really good at finding my shows on Netflix. We’ve become friends.

Haven't really went thought to see what all Alexa can do. But for things like asking for the weather forecast and to play music on command it works great. Would probably give it 5 stars if I knew how to use it to it's full potential.

Nice improvement over the original at half the price. Amazon needs to work on connectivity issues or else it would be 5 stars.

Love this device plays music can tell you the weather and also can use it to order from amazon prime the speaker is way better on this model than the dot but I like both products

I got this for my In-laws. We had so much fun asking Alexa questions over Christmas. Will come in very handy since they like to listen to music and find out the weather for the day.

I lived this so much that I bought two more and another for a gift. My family used them everyday for music, shopping lists, and games. Works great with my SmartThings equipment too.

This is a good upgrade from the dot, but doesn't sound quite as good as the Google Home. Good addition to an Alexa ecosystem.

I didn't think I would use this much,but it is an extremely handy device. I can get news, weather, any questions answered anytime. I find the more I use it the more things I find to use it for.

I bought this to sync with my harmony remote. It works great and is fun to ask it questions. This only draw back is. I can not change the name to Alfred. Works great with the harmony extender
