I never understood what the big whoopla was about these until I visited my brothers-in-laws home for thanksgiving dinner. After that I HAD to get one. So glad I did! Having this Alexa speaker is absolutely wonderful. Music, facts,news and weather at my command. I love it! The music sounds fantastic!

We bought a Alexa the other day and i live it you can listen to anything/ ask anything you want and it will find it .

I hooked this up as computer speaker via bluetooth for my roommate's desktop. As my mother ages, it's nice to simplify things for her. She can ask Alexa to turn on things like lights and TV or even play Springsteen. Now just to get her to stop calling her Lexie.

Make sure you have the regular Alexa. ECO 2nd Gen.This is not a stand alone unit. Will not work except with the main Alexa. It's a companion for Alexa. Have to take back. I would only rec. to someone that already has Alexa.

We purchased this Echo as we wanted to downsize our collections of dvd's and cd's. Once you store your songs on the Echo it will bring them up and play once you ask for the song to be played. Very happy with this purchase. The monthly cost of $12.99 is minimal for the service you get.

We purchased this more out of curiosity than need. Got a smart plug in store and used it for the Christmas Tree. Grandkids are having a blast asking Alexa homework questions, playing music, asking for jokes and weather and controlling the tree lights. Kept them busy and amazed really a fun product

I buying this 2nd generation Amazon Echo for my nephew. I enjoyed the first generation Amazon Echo with no problems.

I bought this for my mom, so when she is cooking or has a question she can ask Alexa. She is enjoying it very much.

Great overall product. The streaming limitations across multiple devices with amazon music is somewhat frustrating, but outside of that the kids love it for school questions and Alexa is constantly improving functionality

It is very stylish. Response time with voice command is quick. Speaker sounds great and has a decent volume for an average space.

I bought this for my wife as a Christmas present, we were looking for something to sit in our home and mainly Play music, and settle arguments by answering random trivia questions. The sound from the speaker is absolutely fantastic, and Alexa does a very good job of answering most every question we throw at her.

I have multiple Echo devices, I especially love the fabric on this one. It blends in much better than the plastic.

Works as described for the most part, voice commands sometimes need to be repeated because it doesn't speak drunk

Bought as a replacement for the one I had , cause I thought it got fried during a storm . But come to find out it was the surge protector got got fried. So I kept it for the bedroom . We use it all the time. And it sound excellent . Going for the Alexia studio next

I bought this because it was a cheaper option compared to other smart speakers. So far, I like it. It's neat that I can control my lights and other accessories with it. I just wish the sound quality was a little better.

Smart home is amazing I bought the echo dot, echo, with my new Phillips hue and dot and they work great together.

Works well for music and alarm as well as controlling lights. The search engine is not as good as google, but overall great!
