Great device, able to hear me and understand from reasonable distance. I'm not too demanding with my sound system, but for me this echo has great sound. I also bought an echo dot and you can set up all of your Alexa devices to play music at the same time. (I connected my Spotify with Alexa)

I bought 3 of these for my house. I love turning the lights on and off, the Christmas tree on and off as well as the ability to do all of what I just mentioned without being at home (thru Alexa App). These units are ingenious, I don't know why I waited so long to purchase them.

We bought this to use as an alarm clock for our high school son. It's been awesome. It reminds him each night when it's time for bed and when to get up. Helps with studying and provides background music for studying. Great sound and flexibility..so much more than a speaker.

I love love love to come home and ask Alexa play.... music, tell me a joke, weather, etc. She is great has endless capabilities. Just love everything about. I want to purchase "light on" capability. Love ready monthly reminders about Alexa.

Improved speakers... Alexa provides excellent sound in music. If you want to spent a mid-range cost... this alexa is for you. However, if you plan to add light or any other home skills... to add a hue is approx. $50 or more. So, if planning to add any home skills, just invest in the echo plus.

Love the Amazon Echo products. I have a couple of these Echo and a few of the Dot products and love them all. Great sound. Use this one in my pool house to listen to music on Sirius XM in the summer. Really works out very well.

Bought this one as a gift but also have one. Has very good sound and enjoying using it for the daily weather forecasts and news updates. All the available games are a plus and enjoyable to play. More music available with a Amazon Prime account and well worth the investment.

I started off with an echo dot, which I like, but I was able to upgrade to the Echo over the holidays when there were some really good deals on them. I am most impressed with the sound quality from the speaker. It fills up our living room and dining room with great sound!
