Use this as a voice assistant for other smart home devices and as a portable music player. Ended up subscribing to amazon music for echo unlimited for an extra 4 bucks a month, but it contains almost every song I can think of( missing T-Ride’sBack door Romeo)

I had bought this as s gift for my nephew and it was a great hit not just with him but with my 2 boys as well. We had so much fun as a family asking soooooo many questions, asking her to play songs, news and even asking her to tell jokes!!!!! Money well spent.

I love Alexa and all things Alexa. This product is perfect for our home and our kids.

With the exception of asking for weather reports and some health questions - the Echo is superior to our Google Home. Along with our Amazon Prime Music it performs nearly flawlessly. The sound quality is demonstrably richer and deeper than Google. Liked it so much we bought an Echo Dot for my home office. The fiance' is not a fan of me popping in via "Drop In" when we are both working from home.

Haha! I bought this for myself and my family wanted one so I gave it to them for Christmas. It took awhile for them to decide who was going to set it up, but they did it! It is so nice to just ask for music to come on and magic! It plays! Love this new toy!

This is my 4th Echo unit, got the FireTV Cube, Echo Show and the Echo Dot. Now I don't have to yell out loud across the room. Easy to set up and easier to use. I prefer Amazon Echo product over Google.

Alexa is our new BFF. We have her in the bathroom. She gives us the news, weather, schedule for the day. She has even told my husband he needs to tell me he loves me himself. I love throwing names at her and hearing an awesome selection of my favorite artists.

I originally bought the echo Dot. Actually got it as a gift. Really like the Dot but I wanted a louder and a more bass sound. The Echo does both and I couldn’t be happier with the sound quality from such a small device. Alexa is awesome also.

It's a good speaker, setup was easy, Alexa works fine. Just how do you make good use of this, I hooked it up to our Lux Geo thermostat, so I can tell it to heat or cool the house, but I can also do this from my phone, so I am just not so sure about the use cases. We do like it to play music (we have Amazon prime) and to play NPR news in the morning.

Will be buying another as the speaker capabilities with the dot just are not enough

The speaker is a great speaker. It plays loud with no distortion. It has great bass it’s very clear. Very fashionable. You won’t believe the sound that comes out of it. Works very very well I would highly recommend it you won’t be disappointed

The Echo has a great volume speaker. I can have it in my living room, and turn it up enough to hear in all adjacent rooms. Great for playing music while cooking. Alexa also does a good job of only one device replying, and I rarely have to repeat a command.

Purchased last year during Black Friday deals. Waited a bit before giving my opinion on this review. Gotta say that it is definitely worth it. Even the wife was impressed. We have it set up in the kitchen and Alexa can even assist with recipes.
