Pretty much the only reason I use Alexa devices, is to control spotify, and I hate fiddling with anything while I'm driving. This is a device I've been waiting for, for a while now and I have nothing but positive things to say. I was worried it wouldn't be able to hear me, since I drive a 370z, and they're famous for having lots of road noise inside the cabin (and the particular exhaust system I have doesn't help) but it's a lot better at picking up my voice than I anticipated. Yes, I have to yell at it sometimes, but that shouldn't be an issue for 99% of people. One of the most useful comfort based upgrades I've ever done.

I recommend it for trips and it is small, it takes little space to store and easy to use

Was watching this item a long time, finally decided to purchase when it was on sale. No regrets, plays the music I want buy asking Alexa to hear my favorites. Easy setup.

Alexa is always been a convenience for a home, and a welcome addition now with our car. Initially difficult to connect, but will soon realize that this is not an auto accessory an extension of the echo line of products. Once coming out realization, connecting with seamless. Excellent value for the price, and I do like the fact that you’re able to select map of choice with navigation. Currently connected to a 2019 Volvo XC 90. I am connecting a second unit to a 2004 Porsche 911, which would offer the updated conveniences if have on my other vehicles.

Works perfectly but honestly the only thing it does is getting the “Alexa” command and your phone does all the work. Would love if there was a Wi-fi standalone version of this. But don’t get me wrong I love to be able to play my music and Sirius channels by voice. Only that when I forget my phone at home…device turns useless

This was a gift for an older relative, and she is quite happy with it, especially being easy to use and she likes the sound.

How did I ever live with out this..alexa in your vehicle is really awesome in getting directions and listening to your favorite music

I drive a 2011 Chevy Silverado which has a good sound system but no bluetooth capability so I purchased this with doubts. Today I wouldn't know what to do without it. I am totally hands free. It auto connects once you start the vehicle and all you have to do is tell Alexa what to do and it is done. I have to hook it up through an aux cord and usually when you do that you can hear the that vehicle static noise through the speakers. Not with this device. Crisp, clear sound that will jam if you have the system.

If you want to be able to access Alexa on your vehicle this is ok. The holder to connect the device is not good to me, because you have to connect it to your a/c vent.. you can buy different types of holders online though. Also would have been better if you could charge device so you didnt have to have it connected to power via micro usb cable.

Perfect companion to bringing Alexa on the road with us ! It helps my directionally challenged husband navigate his way to clients. We both enjoy the options of listening to podcasts and the music genres or songs that we want to listen to now. We've even been able to play games on long road trips. We actually went out and bought a second one recently so that we have one for each of our cars.

The item is good. The cord is a little annoying and funny looking just hanging there. My only issue is that Amazon Music seems to not be working with this. Also before tou buy, make sure your phone is compatible with this device!

I use this daily with no problems. Just make sure it’s turned off when exiting the automobile or your Bluetooth devices will connect to it. I use it daily to check the weather, call local stores and friends, find out opening and closing times of stores, play music on demand, play games like Deal or No Deal, Song Quiz, and Who wants to be a Millionaire, and find out answers to random questions that pop up into our heads. Easy to set up and use.

Great source to run Alexa through your car! Functions like a personal assistant in the car!!

For the use in a car, this is just right. Unfortunately, we have gotten used to watching videos or doing more via our iPhones but, that’s nothing to do with this product. It does what it is designed to do and it does it well. If we want to do something more, we will just pull out our phones like usual. FYI, this was great for our recent cross country drive.

i have used the auto in my vehicle for about a week now. its very easy for me to use specifically because i have my house integrated with Alexa. Lights locks the works. very easy to set up and gives you all the benefits of Alexa while driving. that way you don't have to take your eyes off the road as much.

Works exactly as planned. Kids love to tell Alexa to play music on command. Navigation comes through speakers and music will. Actually pause.

It took me alittle time to get connected. Works very well when done. Im impressed with the echo auto

Bought this on deal of the day & couldn't be happier with it. To be fair I never used it so far with directions but it's the best thing for playing Pandora or Spotify through my car radio. I have it plugged into my aux in in my car & I can tell Alexa what volume I want it to output so it matches my CD player & radio volume. I keep getting offers from Sirius XM to reinstate my subscription but with this I say NO WAY. No monthly fees & not very many ads. Love it.

Echo Auto comes with Air Vent Mount, which has a magnet to attach Echo Auto. The setup is very easy via Bluetooth. You can connect to Spotify, play online radio, and much more by just using your voice. It is a nice gadget to have in the car and it makes driving a bit safer and traveling interesting.

I love this except... half the time, when I get in the car the Echo auto has lost connectivity with my phone. Not a big deal if I'm going on a long trip as I just have to connect once and it works like a charm. But for short trips and just getting around town, it can be tiresome to have to "help it connect" to my phone.
