Actually ended up purchasing two Echo Dots from Best Buy. Was so impressed in the functionality and additional features being added daily I purchased another for my bedroom. Have enjoyed everything about the device. Oh - I own and Amazon Tap as well.

This is the third one for my house. Great entertainment and convenient to boot.

Purchased my 2nd Dot for another bedroom. A Dot speaker is comparable to a clock radio, so if you listen to music you may want to purchase a Bluetooth speaker (I use an Anker Soundcore which stays ready to play Dot sound as long as Bluetooth connection is present).

I am a guy who loves his electronic toys .. This is a great addition .. I can do lots of little things with this item . It will play music , it also gives me the daily news , weather and other news I ask it to get for me . I am considering purchasing more of these to put in my home office , kitchen and the dining room ... I have purchased so far the Echo and 1 Dot ..

We love our echo dot. It is nice to ask it questions and for steaming Spotify.

I was skeptical at first, but so many of my friends have one of these and recommended it to me... and I love it! Alexa is actually faster and easier than using my iPhone, and sometimes even my Apple Watch. Give it a shot and you may be pleasantly surprised!

Alexa Echo Dot is a great first voice controlled device for the home. Constantly learning, it can give you updates on news, sports, weather, tell jokes and play music. Plus you can use it in tandem with other devices to operate lights and set alarms.

The product is everything I expected. I would recommend the product to others.

Alexa is fun to use and tells great jokes too! Acknowledges and clearly understands the information when speaking to it and is sensitive enough to hear its name being called when a commercial for Eco Dot is on TV. Makes a fun and relatively inexpensive gift too!

Work perfect if your extending the signal from the main hub for multiple rooms.

This item is perfect. It recognizes your commands with no issues. This is especially valuable if you have Philips Hue lamps, now you can control them with your voice. The other thing I use them for is to listen to music, it always finds a great selection to play.

This is my third Dot, and they all work flawlessly, Nothing more to really say.

My son has an echo. And I purchased this for a grab bag gift for my family member. My nephew loved it and uses it in his room. It is so highly functional and they have many in their home now and just love it. I would recommend anyone should buy this
