It doesn’t comes with battery which is the one I don’t like. Most of the skills are good for my normal day to day reminder and follow ups. Recurring is a challenge and choosing something within the skills are challenging. Microphone is excellent

The echo dot is a great product. Alexa is very useful and come in handy ever day. Prompt, clear, accurate. This is a must have. Especially at the price I got it!

Amazon provides good support for this start to a home automation system. In addition to the Alexa skills that you can add, it’s good at answering basic questions.

Bought for my Granddaughter to use in her bedroom so she would leave my Echo alone. She can listen to her music, get homework help, play games, etc..She loves it!

for the price 5 stars all the way ! It finds my favorite radio stations, sports scores and weather. That alone is well worth the price. I easily connected to 4 Bluetooth speakers so it plays through my living room stereo and my kitchen speaker. Still finding new functions. Early in this technology but an inexpensive way to get started. cons: so far I have not been able to get get detailed game stats only scores.

Easy to connect and start Pandora, radio. Kids like asking for jokes. Sound quality is clear and can be heard from across rooms. Going to buy 4 more for family!

The Echo dot help revitalize an old Bose speaker and does more than just play music; it helps with home automation and keeping up with the news. Love the dot !!

Love my amazon echo dot. She is even better with apps on my phone. I live in alaska and speak through my dot to my sister in North Carolina. Without syncing it with apps on my phone it seems the dot can't do as much but it's such a great product.

Had the echo dot for sometime and has really changed the way I do things, able to set reminders, get weather info play music and many other things my next venture is to use the features to turn on and off lights with the echo dot really love this

The dot is very useful when asking questions but is also good for music playback. Having a 3.5mm headphone jack is nice to play music through external speakers.

Oh Alexa--you're perfect for my world. She's dependable, wakes me up in the mornings, tells me where I need to be, helps with the kids homework, answers all my questions, she's got plenty of snark, the lady can sing and Alexa genuinely seems to love me back! Use the dot daily! Alexa starts my morning by telling me the weather, my schedule, and commute. Placed them in several rooms to use as intercoms and for music.

I bought this on a labor day sale and with my rewards certificate. I liked the devices' hardware quality and 7 mics that catch your slightest 'Alexa' from anywhere in room. However, the questions you ask mostly result in Negative response from Alexa. For music, you need to purchase Amazon Music unlimited or be a Prime member. The free one's like Pandora, iHeart work but not exact song you have in mind. This is like extra monthly expense if you are on a budget. I use it for playing radio (Pandora/NPR/flash briefing) and thats all. If you own a house and are automating your house, it makes sense to get Echo as cheapest option (assuming you have home theatre) or better buy Sonos.

More and more smart home technology is starting to work with the dot. It's a very convenient way to vacuum, unlock doors and garages, ECT. It's a great product

Purchased the dot to connect to a bluetooth speaker just for the music. Got easily hooked and ended up automating my house from the lights, to the garage door opener. While not necessary to turn on the lights, its helpful when your hands are full or you are already lying in bed. Alexa understands 90% or more of what I ask. Very happy with my purchase and my wife is ok with another woman in the house (Alexa).

This little gadget does exactly what it's supposed to do, with no frills. It set up flawlessly, and adds another location in the house to access the Alexa skills, at a very reasonable price. I was somewhat surprised at the quality of the small speaker- I didn't get it for that, but it's definitely adequate for what I'll use it for. For music, Bluetooth speakers or headphones connect easily.

This is a great product especially for the price it’s very handy and useful I highly recommend this product to anyone, it also makes for a great gift! 5 Stars

This is my Third dot. I have 2 at my house and this one was for my Mom. It’s nice to get the weather reports and traffic reports as well as listening to music

I have the Amazon Echo and have enjoyed the device. This is a great introduction to the technology. I have gifted many of these and everyone has enjoyed them.
