At first I was confused on the difference between the Echo Dot and the Echo. After doing my research I decided to go with the Dot. I couldn't be more happier!

I already had a dot but wanted to add to other rooms. Best Buy had these next to the checkout line so I grabbed it. Now the whole family uses it. It’s so easy

Amazon has made a great product that is easy to setup and easy to use. I use it to control other smart devices and it works great. Very happy with this product.

Has the tech of the Echo without a big speaker. I paired it with the speaker I purchased to go with it and it sounds even better than the speaker with the Echo.

Absolutely in love with my new Echo.. It is extremely responsive very small and Compact and it responds well to all questions asked. I do wish however that the commands were a little bit more flexible and did not have to be so precise when connecting to Smart Home Products. However, it does work well when the correct commands are used and it picks up the voice from across the room even with background noise.

I bought it for my nephew 10 yrears old he loves it every morning asks the weather plus what ever questions he had %95 with a answers very happy with the item

I was skeptical at my first echo dot. What use would I have for this? But I got a great deal and purchased one. Now I have 2 echo dots and an Echo Tap. I even wish the tap functioned more like the echo dot. My digital butler Alexa is amazing. She sets my alarms. plays my music library (once uploaded to Amazon Music through PC or Mac). She even tells me corny jokes. I love the new skills being added daily.

I do everything on this crazy thing from ordering household items on Amazon to making my lists and lifting myself up with a joke or doing a little yoga. A lot of times you can find these on sale now they're not expensive at all I think every household should have 1. And as far as the spying goes you can mute so your voice is not heard.

Ever increasing commands to get the jobs done. Able to use Bluetooth and auxiliary’s connection for existing speakers instead of getting the tall pricey unit.

The Dot was easy to configure and within minutes I had it controlling my smart lights throughout the house, providing me the weather, and playing Pandora.

I bought this for a present and I think I get more enjoyment out of it. My kids love it and ask for jokes constantly, I like to ask the weather and play music on Pandora. It syncs easily to devices on Bluetooth. We add items to shopping lists regularly so we can check the list when we are in the store. Very fun little device and comes in quite handle with a lot of little things that can be tedious.

I bought this as a gift for my husband. He has been enjoying the ease of use. He is able to request his favorite music, weather, etc. It was a great purchase.

Totally love this. We have one in every room. It's always there to answer questions. The more you use it the more helpful it becomes. I also like if it loses power it automatically reconnects without any assistance. My only down side is on the echo dots the volume can be low at times but we just hook it up to a speaker if we need it in some rooms. Price is also good!!

I love the way this works. I don't even have to turn the TV on to play a radio station. I need to explore all the things Alexa can do to really appreciate it.

We have the echo 2nd gen, the plus and other dots throughout the house. We use the dot mainly to play music in the nursery...nothing loud and it works great!

The Echo Dot doesn't have the speaker power the larger Echo has, but for a bedroom, it'll do everything the Echo will. Stream your heart out! A great product!

Echo Dot 2nd generation may not be the smart speaker for every room but it's perfect for small spots and simple use (like checking the weather). I only wanted a smart speaker for simple commands. The main reason for my purchase is that once it is set up in a tight spot, I just plug it in and I don't have to worry about getting it out to charge via USB.

Alexa is great. It's nice to be get the weather without turning on the tv or looking it up on your phone. Saves time and you can have it play music while you get ready. It's great for the kids also, telling stories, jokes and it will sing and rap to them. With the outlet and lightbulb accessories you can have it control the lights and turn on your coffee pot. Really useful and helpful to have.

We love our echo dot. Great for controlling lights, hvac, sprinkler, music and general questions. Buy a few to put around the house At $30 it’s a no brained.

I bought this for my wife who has been begging me for months to get it for use in the house, and I can say with a certainty it has been a wonderful purchase.
