This thing works wonder. No longer have to turn on or off light switches. The ability to voice control is huge with home automation! A MUST!

Got 2 of these, one for each of my daughter's rooms, and they're great! The drop in feature is a huge help, they love asking alexa questions, listening to music and all the apps.

This is the fifth Alexa enabled device I own. Is it perfect? Absolutely not. Is it best of what is out there, and available today? Absolutely. Set up is easy, as is every day use.

Love it! So simple and easy to use and she understands clearly without having to ask you to repeat what you said. I would like the volume to be a little louder, but that's just me

Does everything the Echo does but cheaper. Can link together and bluetooth speaker if you need more volume but perfect bedrooms. I control my Dish and home security system. I love it.

This is the 3rd DOT we have purchased for our home. We love having easy access to Alexa.

Echo dot works great. Takes some time to get all the skills included and to remember them. But after time it gets easier and the information helps get the day started with weather and news.

Seems like almost every day there is something new to learn, it keeps getting more and more useful! It's one of those "don't realize how much you need it until you use it", kind of things.

Bought it for Mom for Christmas. A lot easier for her to ask for music, weather etc as well as operate the firestick. She is enjoying finding out what the echo can do.

It’s a great little product... sound isn’t amazing but I like having it by my nightstand.

At the time I purchased this Alexa I got it for a good price. and I guess it does what it's supposed to do but I don't like the fact that it comes on sometimes and listens even when you're not giving a command. I think it's better than Google because at least when it comes on the little light rain shows you that it's listening. It has its perks but there are certain things about it that I'm not crazy about. The ordering experience with Best Buy was good, came in faster than I thought it was as it had to be ordered because they didn't have any white ones in stock at that time. So it came in faster than anticipated and I got it at super low price on sale so overall I guess I would say I was pretty happy with the purchase.

Very slim, stylish, and functional Alexa unit that is suitable for bedrooms where it doesn't take up a lot of space. But I did notice that it gets disconnected more often than the full Alexa unit, which I'm sure will be worked out in the future, hence the 4, not 5, stars.

My family is really enjoying Alexa to give us news updates, play music, tell jokes, and help with cooking. It's a terrific product and we use it on a daily basis. Brava, Alexa!

Plays music, answers questions, looks up information, gives you news highlights and weather info. Music plays better on the large unit but the dot is great for other rooms in the home.

Alexa! Very easy to setup, easiest device to pair with my Bose sound link mini. The app was easy to use. Just hard to remember all the music titles I heard growing up. But Alexa finds them.

I purchased this mainly for a speaker and it works wonders for me. It’s little and cute. The only negative thing I have to say is that it has to be plugged in for use

Brought this for Christmas to help with the many questions we get from our kids. Although we het our share of Alexa not understanding the question, we enjoy the ability to hear music, jokes, definitions weather on demand...my kids treat her like an additional member of the family

Great value for a small speaker/assistant! Good for small apartments. Alexa has been super helpful and although the speaker isn't the best, it packs a punch.

We use it daily and for multiple purposes. My wife uses it while she cooks. I get updates on traffic and weather before I leave in the morning. The kids give it music commands daily.
