My wife and I love this thing. Our favorite app is the meditation timer. We use it to help us unwind and to fall asleep. Also makes a great alarm clock and a great place to play music.

Love this small Echo Dot. Plays the music I want. I also bought another one for a Christmas gift.

Use it in my home office for music. Does not require a wireless speaker to hear my rock and roll!

We use Alexa every day to turn on/off lights, set timers, check the weather, find store hours, ask trivia, and even to make calls to people on our contact list. NOTE: when using for making calls, we manually added people to our contact list instead of having Alexa import all my contacts from my phone. Because do you really need to be able to call your dentist hands-free from anywhere in your house? Or call them inadvertently?

Alexa is able to understand my Indian accent without any problem. The best voice recognition AI in the market now

this alexa was a good idea ,paired it with insignia outlet and no more going into the basement in the dark

if you dont have an echo the dot is a way to get a chance to enjoy some of the same features at a cheaper price
