The volume is excellent and its so convenient. Its annoying to have it plugged in all the time to use because sometimes I want it in my kitchen and not bedroom. My cousin used his and connected all the lights so alexa would turn them on and off. Its an amazing device and always chooses the best music playlist.

I have 4 of the Echo Dot devices. They are in every room and hallway. I bought this one for my husband to stream his music while he is working in his shed. He can even stream on our two acre lot way in the back with and extended cord. I also bought 2 Echo Pop units because I liked their shape but they all do what we need done. Sometimes the new Alexa can get a little sassy! lol

Replaced what i think was an old hock puck version that died. This thing is easy to setup, understands me even when ive had a challenging day, and looks great with a small foot print. Wonderful updated unit.

This Amazon - Echo Dot can turn on and off the lights in my home. I use the WI-FI wall plugs which work great with this device. Also, you can ask it what the weather is going to be for the day and you can stream music to it from your I-Phone. You can also play trivia word games with this device! I highly reccomend this product!

It’s noticeably better than previous Dots, with richer bass and clearer speech, though if you’re an audiophile, you’ll hear some mild distortion at max volume. Also, it's more like a bedroom speaker—not a party device. The lack of a headphone jack and constant-plug power are minor trade-offs. Overall, a fantastic, well-rounded smart speaker—5 stars from me!

I love my gift! I like the white, its matches everything, its small it’s not in the way of anything and it works great! Some apps you have to buy but the ones in replace of it it just as great!
