I have 4 of the Echo Dot devices. They are in every room and hallway. I bought this one for my husband to stream his music while he is working in his shed. He can even stream on our two acre lot way in the back with and extended cord. I also bought 2 Echo Pop units because I liked their shape but they all do what we need done. Sometimes the new Alexa can get a little sassy! lol

Whether I’m asking for the weather, setting timers, controlling smart lights, or playing music, it responds quickly and accurately. The far-field microphones pick up my voice even when music is playing or I’m across the room. Smart Home Integration This Echo Dot is the perfect hub for a smart home setup. I’ve connected it to my lights, thermostat, and plugs, and everything works seamlessly. The Matter support is a nice bonus for future-proofing.

This Amazon - Echo Dot can turn on and off the lights in my home. I use the WI-FI wall plugs which work great with this device. Also, you can ask it what the weather is going to be for the day and you can stream music to it from your I-Phone. You can also play trivia word games with this device! I highly reccomend this product!

Replaced what i think was an old hock puck version that died. This thing is easy to setup, understands me even when ive had a challenging day, and looks great with a small foot print. Wonderful updated unit.

Also, it's more like a bedroom speaker—not a party device. The lack of a headphone jack and constant-plug power are minor trade-offs. Overall, a fantastic, well-rounded smart speaker—5 stars from me!

Great sound. The highs and mids are so clear, even the bass is noticeable on this little speaker. Love it!!! Perfect for small or medium size rooms; not for large spaces. I got the Deep Sea Blue and it looks amazing. Bought it on sale, half the regular price. Recommended!

I purchased this speaker as a Christmas gift for my young adults, and they love their speaker. Very compact, doesn't weigh too much. Good sound, alexa is responsive.

I love my gift! I like the white, its matches everything, its small it’s not in the way of anything and it works great! Some apps you have to buy but the ones in replace of it it just as great!

Some users on forums report that their devices don’t always pick up the wake word, or that connectivity drops. No 3.5mm Audio Jack: One major downside is that this version lacks a physical audio-out jack, so you can’t easily connect it via cable to external speakers. Sound Limitations at High Volume: While the sound is solid at low-to-medium volume, pushing it higher can lead to distortion, especially for bass-heavy content.
