We bought this for my daughter (6) for Christmas and love it. She listens to it every night and talks to Alexa all the time. She loves that Alexa will sing to her and tells stories and jokes. It’s all kid friendly so I don’t have to worry about Alexa accidentally playing something inappropriate.

I bought two kids edition echos for my children aged 3 and 11. This seems to help them settled in their own space. They both use their device for two completely different reasons so I am a very happy parent. My only con is when the device freezes on an application or in the middle of a song

Got this for my Grandson... who is less than 3 years. Who would imagine a toddler would be voice controlling an AI device giving commands to play Baby Sharks or whatever... it’s hilarious. A great introduction to technology.

We purchased 2; 1 for son’s room and another for our family room. We love the “drop in” and “announce” features to talk between Dots. My son loves to listen to stories while getting ready in the morning and sleep sounds at night to quickly fall asleep. He also has started using FreeTime to read books on his tablet.

I thought others reviews were exaggerating but they weren't. Thing is horrible . Connecting issues almost every time we were gonna use . Simple thing as hearing ocean sound were difficult. Setup for kids edition not clear . Says we have year but 1 month in stating subscription expired and need card. Oh and this is just an echo with fancy case . Kids mode can be activated on any echo

I bought this for my 3yr old who display so much intrest in mines, that I choose to get him one. He listens to music, stories and we even have it set up to tell a joke a day.

I have several Echo Dots and ordered this one because it was a great deal. Tried everything I could and would not power on. Had to return. Great deal if you get one that will work.

We set up and placed in bedroom for daughter but I don't allow her to use to much. Shes only 4 but with that being said it works as good as the dot I personally use.

We love this for our children. they love asking questions and going to sleep to a lullaby
