Easy to set up. Works effectively. Good option for a garage or work space where music quality speaker isn't needed.

Good for convenience (relatively small, no socket to device wiring, good as long as socket available in desired location). Poor sound quality (small tinny cell phone like speaker) but can be used with an amplified external mono speaker if desired. I use mine to voice security system warnings over an amplified outdoor speaker to warn off potential intruders. Used to be available at a lower price.

The flex is great for simple commands like checking weather, time, etc. I have it in my bathroom to listen to music while in the shower and also checking the time as I’m getting ready for work. The sound is not totally the best, but adequate for the bathroom. I would recommend to buy if you’re using for these purposes.

The audio quality is terrible, worse than a typical smartphone. However, this device isn't really there to play your music collection or podcasts, it's to sit in a place like the bathroom where it can plug into the wall and handle requests. For that, it's fine. I wouldn't get this as your first Echo device, but if you need to have voice coverage in a place where you're not listening to audio much and it doesn't have to deal with lots of noise, it works well.

This can be easily set up anywhere you want. No wire, just put on outlet. Very reasonable price.

These work great for your bathrooms because they can plug directly into your outlet and not have to be on your counter in the way. The speaker is loud enough for your bathrooms also. It's like having an Echo Dot anywhere but not on a counter top, and for me, that's perfect! I now have 5 of them thru out my house and even on my front porch!!

Echo Flex is just right for our application. Have in baby room to help turn off nursery lights and ceiling fan. Works just like Alexa Echo, with the main difference in my view is sound quality if used to play Spodify, Pandora, or any other music streaming. Sound quality for those applications is weak. Use regular Alexa Echo not the Flex.

Great little unit! I .love that there's no cord. I do not have a problem with the volume like some reviews stated. I find I have it on a very low volume setting as I use it in my bathroom in the morning for news, weather and music but it does get loud enough if need be.

For being such a little and simple plug-in product, it works really well. It is no different in functionality than the echo dot. The only sacrifice is the quality of the speaker but for a bathroom or just to use to check in weather, ask questions and control other smart devices - this is perfect and the price point makes it even more attractive.

We were looking for an inexpensive option for alexa coverage (bathroom, laundry room) around the house and this was perfect, it plugs right into the wall, doesn't need a mount or a place to set it. Sound quality is tinny, but no one wants to touch a light switch so this was perfect. It does have a slight delay for announcements so if you're within earshot of a flex and another device you'll hear it twice.

Have 2 of these paired with motion sensors. I created routines via Alexa that can turn on the lights when I walk by. IDK why Amazon discontinued these as they were great. Got them on sale for $10. Only thing that sucks was the crappy speakers. I'm only writing this review for the Best Buy rewards points because ain't no one gonna read this except dude paid to filter review. Whats up man?

This is an amazing option for if you want an echo but don’t want to splurge. This does the same exact thing as the others. The only thing that’s noticeably different is how loud the speaker gets but you could just connect a different Bluetooth speaker and play your music on there. I use it to control my tv in my bedroom mostly but it also has games, sets alarms, reminders, grocery lists & more.

Works pretty much like an echo dot. I have been using this instead of an echo dot connected to my Stereo Receiver. Sounds good and mic seams to pick up my voice better. On its own the speaker is good for spoken word, not great for music. Listening to news is good. Now if you connect it via the 3.5 jack to a stereo sound quality is very good. It also supports using a bluetooth speaker.

I installed this in my bathroom and use it often, asking it to play the news as I get ready. As others have commented, the speaker is not the best for music but good enough for podcasts and hearing the news. Sometimes, I have to repeat myself which maybe means the microphone is not as sensitive. Happy with the purchase. Would be interested to see if Amazon will develop a new generation of this.

The cheapest Alexa item you can purchase for home. Works as well as the other Alexa items, which I have echo dot and echo show. I bought a couple for the bedrooms to control the lights and for daily use such as knowing the weather, alarm, playing sound machine noise to sleep, and to sometimes use to do drop in calls if my fiancé or kids are answering their phones.
