It glitches and freezes CONSTANTLY. wont connect to my google home devices. Its now just froze at a black screen after 1 WEEK of having. Best buy told me to call amazon as they wont be able to help me EVEN THOUGH I PAID FOR THE PLUS GEEK SQAUD! DO NOT BUY OR TRUST BEST BUY CEDAR RAPIDS, IOWA

It gave me a message stating that I had to use the power cable that came with the item. But that was exactly what I was using.

I am sorry your having issues with you Echo hub. You can try restarting the Echo Hub by holding down the mute button or unplugging the power adapter for 30 seconds. It seems that you were looking for a full fledged screened Echo device as this device is specifically meant to be a smart home controller for all of your smart devices that are compatible with Alexa. This gives you at a glance views of things such as a smart thermostat's temp, smart lights being on or off, or even a feed for all of your smart security cameras. This does come with a full featured Alexa as well but if you are trying to use it while cooking, you may be better suited for something such as the Echo Show 8, Show 10, or even the new Show 15 or 21 as all of these are full featured products with larger screen sizes for better use while cooking.
