I love the Echo Plus. I listen to music at night after turning off my light and Alexa will fade the music out after 15 minutes. She will turn off the Hue lights I received with this purchase and a few that I purchased separately. Echo works well and sounds great. I have had some problems with the Hue lights. They have dropped their connection several times. It is a cool feature to be able to ask Alexa to turn off all of the lights though. I enjoy how Alexa will wake me to my favorite artists radio station each morning. Much nicer than that crazy alarm buzzer:) Hope you enjoy yours, as much as I am mine. Happy Holidays, Peace!!!

Very easy to setup The sound on this thing is great, I was not expecting it to be as good as it is. The voice recognition works very well, you don't have to yell at it, and I have yet to have the voices on the tv accidentally activate it. There are some cons, like it won't connect to a spotify account unless you have the premium membership, but you can use spotify of you link it to your phone by Bluetooth, and use it as a Bluetooth speaker. It doesn't do follow up questions, and needs to be plugged into the wall outlet at all times. Other than that, I really enjoy the echo plus and glad I made the purchase.

We have this one in the living room and our original echo purchased last year in or office. Very handy and convenient. Love that I can control the lights from this.

I have two dots and this and the functionality between them is awesome. I can’t wait to see how it improves through time. Great quality speaker and build.

This is the first experience I've had with Echo Plus. It was relatively easy to set up. For a small unit, the speakers sound very good, a lot better than I expected. I was also surprised that the voice recognition is as good as it is. I'm probably under utilizing it for now and am still learning all of its capabilities. But it's fun as well as very useful and I would recommend it.

Had the Echo Plus over a week and this thing is amazing. Great sound and easy to move around. A little tricky with the set up but works great.

Easy setup! Alexa is much more efficient than Siri and skills make her a real help. From shopping lists to playing music Alexa is the bomb.

I initially walked in the store looking to buy a regular Echo but with the promotion they had going on for the Echo Plus I decided to upgrade. I already have a smart home deployment at my house with several Echo dots and a Samsung Smart Hub controlling numerous lights, switches, thermostats and TVs but I've always hated the fact that I had to have the smart hub separate as well. The Echo Plus solved that and has made for seamless integration for new devices that I have added to my system. The only drawback that led me to give it 4 stars is the fact that we upgraded from the dot to an Echo for the large speakers/mic in hopes that it would pick up our voices easier over music and the tv but alas it hasn't been much better than with the echo dot that we had in that room. Other than that it's a great purchase and I would buy again.

Works great. Turns H&A up and down. Tv on and off. Lights on and off. All from Alexa. You do have to have apps and special lights.

So yesterday evening i decided to purchase an Amazon Echo. Is the machine intrusive yeah i guess it could be if you allow it. I purchased it because of its home automation and other fantastic capabilities. Just to name a few of those capabilities. With a subscription you will have an unprecedented amount of music you can listen to, that in itself was worth it. Some other things include sports travel recipes and traffic. The home automation part lock doors turn on lights random lighting when on vacation..

We love our Alexa! We have the Hue Lights, Vivint Home System, and the Kwikset smart locks and they all work great together. We also really loved the smart home specialist at Best Buy he answered every questioned we had.

I've had an Amazon Echo and Dot for over a year now. I really wanted to develop the Smart Device usage around my house and when the upgraded Echo i just had to have it. It is a great device. I use the drop in feature to communicate with others in the house, especially when they are upstairs, without having to yell. The smart hub is amazing. Attaching to smart devices is much more seamless than with the 1st gen echo. Just got it so time will tell, but the 2nd gen Echo devices are worth it.

Love the Alexa and the plus is perfect to control your lights and all! Very simple setup and outstanding quality product.

My kids love being able to ask questions and hear the answers! We also love that we can control the lights from it too!

Alexa can hear your whisper, carry out all commands, control your home, check the weather, buy things, etc basically I never have to touch anything again- just bark orders all day long! Would definitely recommend

Two comments: make sure you have good WIFI / Bluetooth connection and keep your request short and accurate. If you do this you will be pleased with the device. Example, if you want the weather for your area you do not have to spell out your location. It knows where you are. Just say "weather" and it will give you the local weather. If you get too short with your request it will tell you what else it needs to know. It is easy to set up but you will need your cell phone.

Very easy to set up! Easy to connect with multiple Amazon Echo Dots, as well as multiple smart home products.
