Was skeptical at first, did not think I was going to use this product much but it has been awesome! Alexa answers everything I would normally have to bust my phone out to google, such as weather, unit conversion when cooking etc. Also super easy to just get music playing. Great product!

We purchased the Echo Plus for ourselves as we listen to music on it. Not having much in the way of radio signals, this is just what we needed. Has a lot of bass, has worked flawlessly since we set it up. We also wanted the ability to turn lights off and on when we weren't home. A smart bulb was included with our purchase and we've had fun turning it off and on at will. Once I turned the light on from Colorado! This also gives us notifications if we have a shipment coming, the ring lights up to tell us Alexa has something to tell us. We're planning on getting an Alexa friendly TV next, just need the right one to hit the market!

Like the idea of having a built-in hub to control other smart home devices as we get them. Sound quality is marginally better, but we didn't buy Echos as audiophiles...but for background music and it's perfect for that. My only complaint to date is that we have to accounts in our home and Amazon Echo must have one or the other. That makes it frustrating for the other user (particularly when playing configuring music to play in all rooms).

The echo plus definitely has better sound output over the first generation and with Amazon adding the “hub” function, this speaker/device has been nothing but amazing. I’ve ditched the Phillips smart hub and simply use my echo plus as a smart hub to control all of my smart devices. Simply tell Alexa to discover new devices and typically within 45 seconds she will announce all smart devices you have in your home that she can control.

Alexa is a great voice activated device. Not only can you ask questions, get the weather, get directions but you can set her up to control lights. This is just mentioning a few of the many things Alexa can do. You can also pair her with other devices to do more at home things.

One of the best home devices I have purchased for the house. Now I can turn on/off my lights with Philip hue light bulbs and more with just speaking to Alexa while I sit back on the couch or from the kitchen. The speaker to this device is pretty rich and loud I love it!

My wife wanted Alexa and I was a little skeptical and thought it was a waste of money. I have Siri on my phone and iPad and never use it. Alexa integrates into the fabric of your home and family so easily and so intuitive as to what your saying to her! We love her!

Easy to set up and pair other compatible items by enabling skills through the Amazon app. I've been to best buy twice for information and how to questions and all seems to be going well. It's only been a week and still have a lot to learn about Elexa's capabilities

If you like the whole "Smart House" idea, this is for you. Get an Amazon Prime account and get rolling. Setup was fast, the light hooked up to the Philips Hub I bought (you need one of these if you want to set timers on the lights). Sound quality is really good.

I went to Best Buy to purchase an Echo Dot and a speaker but the salesman encouraged me to try the Echo Plus. Even though it cost a bit more than I intended to spend, I'm very happy to have one unit instead of two, especially since the sound quality is so good.

The sound quality is awesome! We play games in it like jeopardy! We had it read books to our daughter. We paired this one with the dots all over the house and it streams music seamlessly through out the house. It turns off the lights in our kitchen, and porch!

I purchased two Amazon in Echo Plus and two dots plus four fire sticks and the hub Philips hue for lamp for the family at Christmas 2017. I’m so happy with these purchases and learning so much with Alexa. You can start your daily routine with Alexa and program it to whatever you would like to include news weather music horoscope ALSO you can start your day off with a compliment and I think is very important. Alexa gave me the BEST CHILI RECIPE I MEAN THE BEST it’s called Chili I. I want my husband to use Alexa to stay organized for business dates and reminders. This is the way to go

I purchased two echo dots for Black Friday, once I loaded my XM I found the shortcomings. The volume was not load enough. Went back and picked this up and it filled up the room. The dot was moved to the bedroom were it was load enough for the small room.

Replaced the Harman Kardon Invoke with is speaker. Was reluctant because the HK sounded so great but was very inconsistent but I have to say I don't notice a huge drop in sounds quality and the Echo is extremely responsive. Absolutely love it!

I’ve been hesitant to purchase this item, didn’t feel there was an actual need. Alexa has changed my mind. I use this daily with timers and turning off appliances, checking weather and adjusting my heat. Alexa can even arm the alarm system.

I purchased this to pair with my other echo while I enjoy my other 2 echoes I must say there is a noticeably difference with the echo plus and best buy had it at a remarkable price better than amazon so it was win they amped up the speaker

Installation was easy. Directions for use was excellent. Best buy employees were very helpful explaining the product. Best buy always makes the buying process very easy and enjoyable. Looking forward to using the echo plus for many years.

This Alexa series 2 sounds better and preforms better than the previous model. It picks up the voices 10x better and the sound quality is on a Bose level(fills the whole room). Me and my family spends more quality time on the product!
