I didn't really notice much difference in sound quality in music from my 1st alexa speaker and this newer version. I wasn't like, wow this newer one sounds a lot better. To me the sound quality is the same. I did notice this new version is lighter and smaller than my first Alexa. It also has a smart home hub. A upgrade from my first Alexa, and I like how Best Buy included a smart bulb with this one so I could start using the hub right away. Using the hub to operate the bulb was very simple to set up. A few weeks after this purchase Best Buy advertised this same item at a lower price. I called in and they immediately price matched making me a very happy customer with the product and the price.

Bought this when my 1st Gen Alexa finally kicked the bucket. Much better sound when rocking Spotify during wfh. Interested in learning more about the smart home hub built in.

There is nothing bad I can say about this device. I have two light bulbs that work within and it’s super convenient. I use it in the kitchen to play music, ask question, tell jokes, etc. great product.

I have different wireless speakers throughout my house and this one has amazing sound quality and volume. That coupled with Alexa and amazon music makes this a great purchase. Well worth the money.

Alexa has been great so far. The sound from speaker is crisp and loud enough. No complaints yet. Using the free bulb has made me lazy.(lol) Alexa responds great with it.

I am just learning of all the things that Alexa can do and to say the least it is a lot. Very simple set up and use. Plus getting the e mails with new ideas and ways to use Alexa is great.

Purchased for my wife who is not usually good with technology. She loves it ability to play music and answer question ranging from what is the weather to question. It was a breeze to set up

New to this smart home technologÿ. Speaker on this is much better than I anticipated. Nice offering of music from Apple and Amazon and I like the ability to pick different radio stations. Starting to connect some lights to the hub...may take some time to get use to that. Alexa does a pretty good job of understanding the words being spoken to it...that being said it is still not as "smart" as I would like. I guess I've seen too many futuristic shows and was/am expecting too much in regards to the questions that are posed to her. Maybe with time.... Still a nice step in the direction of having a "smart home."

Alexa is so much fun. She answers any question I ask her, tells me the weather, tells jokes etc. Out grandkids really get a kick out of asking her history questions and to turn on the light!!

I absolutely love my amazon echo plus 2nd Gen. I actually purchased 2 so that I could do multi-room playing. Easy to set up. Sounds great and I just love the convienience it gives you.

I ended up buying 3 of these combos with the lights. The sound is great for the money and it has the hub built in to control and automate a whole house.

This product connects to so many things. I love being able to turn my lights on and off by just my voice. The speaker is pretty great too and fills my room with great sound.

The Amazon Echo plus is a great addition to the home. The sound is great and the convenience is terrific. It was also easy to set-up and get started. Would recommend this product

Very Good and the size, volume and quality is excellent

Never had the original but this one is amazing the sound is fantastic, it has a built-in hub, and it also has a temperature sensor built in which add some very cool functionality.

I just love my echo's . I find more things i can do with them all the time . I have 6 of them in my home and lot of smart devices to use . Plus love playing music on them .

At first I only wanted it to control my smart home but then I tried it out as a speaker and it works great I can even control my doorbell with it

The Amazon smart speaker was easy to set up, has excellent sound quality, and is designed with a great sense of humor... ask Alexa what your wife's name is...

The echo plus is a must have for the kitchen! The sound is fantastic and the color options are great. Very easy to use and a nice value.
