The Amazon Echo Plus is a welcome addition to our home. It is able to control lights, thermostat and much more. it does not require a separate hub to take charge of wifi enabled devices. We set it up to control lights in small groups i.e.outside garage, patio and entry. We then set it to control master bedroom. It plays music from Amazon and actually sounds very good. Highly recommend.

Easy to set up. Finds music when prompted. Speaker sounds nice. Controls lights.

Sounds quality is good, not too of the line, but pretty decent. Cannot use without being plugged in. The Light on/off feature is the best thing about this. There are fun games you can play, and connect it to Spotify or wherever to play what you want anytime. So convenient from having to get up or stop cooking to change a song or ask a question like the weather or setting alarms.

These speakers sound great. I have two and use them as home theater speakers with the new feature from Alexa. I have 1 by my tv and 1 behind me, this helps with total room sound. I do not want a surround sound system. I prefer hearing the sound all around me helps me hear what is being spoken. The bass is really good also.

I like my Echo Plus but I think I shouldn’t have bought the Plus because the built-in hub is kind of useless. For many smart devices, you still need to buy their respective hubs except for some smart LED lights from Philips and Sengled. The Philips bulb came with this offer is useless because it lost connection to Echo after about a couple of weeks. I tried a various of ways to connect it but to no avail. Now it is just a dumb light bulb waiting to be replaced. Alexa is cool but far from perfect. It needs a lot more work to make it smarter and the Alexa app needs tons of work because currently the app is not user friendly at all.

I love this thing. Speaker is good, music flows out. Alexa understands everything I tell her. I've started getting at least one alexa device for every room so I can have music blasting out during the holidays. If you can get this at a good price, do it. It's worth it if you know how to automate your home.

Overall, pretty good! I also have 3 2nd Echos and the Echo Plus 2nd Gen sounds better, fuller. The sound can easily fill a room, especially when stereo pairing. Although the sound can fill a room, it still is lacking. The sound is fuller than other Echo devices but I still wouldn't categorize it as a "full" sound. There's a little "twang" to it's sound. The sound is not as crisp as the Homepod (the best sounding smart speaker). The speaker is very functional, easy to setup and simple up use

Seriously, the "find my phone" feature changed my life. :) No more circling the house 32 times trying to figure out where I left my cell phone, and cursing that I have no land line to call it. Also, the sound quality of the Echo is awesome and I love being able to turn off the bedroom light at night without getting back up.

I love music and use Alexa every day. It has a really good sound and I put all the music I like. I really enjoy it and I recommend to purchase this Alexa speaker plus it works with my led lights and camera door,it helps me to remind me events,alarms and so on is just perfect. Buy it.

How can you not love a device so smart and easy to use? I speak. It listens. It acts. I have exactly what I need without four separate remotes and it was super easy to set up, so much that I got an Amazon Fire tv stick, too!

I really like day at call because not only is a great play music but it’s also great for Demi lights changing channels and works very well with my fire TV and all of our electronics in my home I would recommend it for anyone add and works well with my two children who have autism very easy To use and makes life easier

The speaker on this Echo alone makes it worth the investment. Then add in the fact that it has smart home hub built in to connect your smart devices and this is a fantastic product. Glad I went with the Echo plus, ended up getting it on a great sale price along with a Phillips bulb and amazon plug. Great purchase!

I love Alexa! Use it for almost everything! All my lights and even the whole back porch is controlled by her. I can even start my GMC truck with her. Now the kids... let me not forget to mention how much the kids love her. They play with her more than myself. The kids use her for spelling and math. They love having her as part of the family. As silly as it may sound... we all love her! This upgraded model is also way better than the original. I use this model in the kitchen in the Echo Dot in the master bedroom. The speakers on this upgraded model are much better and although they may not be as good as the HomePod by Apple it’s perfect for us. If you Google the differences between all of them you will find that Alexa takes the lead in general. I am a huge Apple fan, and yet I will never back away from the Echo. Highly recommend!

This is fantastic! I keep it in my bedroom. The sound is great for a small speaker. Not sonos quality audio but still great. The fact it has a built in hub saves some money as well. Love it but it's a gateway drug. After you see the convenience of using it, you'll want to turn your whole into a smart house!

As a speaker, the sound quality is excellent when playing music. As a smart home device, the Alexa assistant is quickly becoming a member of the family handling easy tasks like turning on and off lights to more complex tasks such as offering calendar reminders for appointments and ordering food for delivery.

Held off because I didn't want something spying on me. My phone already does that so I decided to jump in. Have it controlling all the lamps, two thermostats, a Ring camera, playing music, making lists, reminders, alarms and timers for me. It's well worth it and kinda fun. I would absolutely recommend it.

We got this for our teenage son for Christmas along with the Phillies hue bulb for his room. I can't tell you how nice it is to be able to turn on the light without touching a thing. Helps him wth homework, workouts, even great for a funny joke to make you laugh after a rough day!

Love this Alexa. Amazon needs to work on command comprehension, but overall, this unit is great. Does what I need it to do. Mostly use as an alarm clock, "to-do" reminder and to listen to any song, anytime, which it's perfect for if you have iTunes, Pandora, Spotify or Amazon Music. Just call out the tune and presto. Love it! Bought the smaller dots for bedrooms, and bathrooms. All connected seamlessly. Very happy with this purchase.

This Echo does the same as all the other ones and then some. For instance it has a hub built it which makes it able to communicate with things such as the Philip's lights without the need of a bridge. Also it has a deeper more powerful bass as compared to the other models.
