My husband and I talked a long time about getting Alexa. Im so glad we did. The newer speaker set up sounds great, she was easy to set up and easy to use. We plan on adding the other abilities in the next few months

I love Alexa and getting a smart home setup. I can say good morning and she turns on the light, starts playing my favorite songs, and so forth automatically. Sound it good enough to get rid of the other radios I was using.

I already have an Echo Dot. I purchase this to see what was new to the second generation model. Interchangeable skins but with limited colors. It’s bigger and louder and more sleek than its previous version. If you can afford it and this is your first smart speaker I say go for it. But if you have the older version or smaller version like a third-generation Echo Dot then stick with that

My niece wanted this to play music while she worked in the kitchen, and loves it - great sound. Her husband really liked the Phillips Hue light too for his office and with the required hub built into the Echo Plus it was very continent and easy to set up.

Music listeners, you will prefer the Plus over all other dots. Significant improvement in bass and low range vs standard echo. If I were to do it over again however I would have added another Sonos play 1. The microphone/wake mode on the Sonos has improved dramatically over the year and sounds much better. If music/sound quality is priority go with Sonos otherwise all the other cool Alexa eco-systyem stuff is worth stepping up to the plus.

If you haven’t bought one yet, then get one soon, easy to set up and connects to so many things. We have printers, lights, Sonos all working well. I even added an echo show to the family. Highly recommended.

Bought this for my dad for xmas. He loves it. It runs his music, speakers, lights and other devices from one location. The fact that it has a Smart Hub built in is the reason I chose it over the Standard Echo 3rd Generation.

My 96 year old mother has been using an Echo Dot for a year now but she often had trouble understanding Alexa. Upgrading to the Echo Plus has fixed that problem and the added quality of music reproduction is an added plus.

While the dot and the show are great, their sound is good for the price. This really has a lot better sound and added a great deal to the ambience of our home. Easy to use - not bulky - great price.

I would highly recommend this product to anyone who wants a tool that will help them stay organized, entertained, and informed. This product is great for listening to music,setting alarms, and providing news and weather updates.

The basic set up was easy. The fact the fact that it came with a hue bulb was great, and setting that up was easy too. FIguring out how to enable some links to other apps and turning on some skills took some time. Again, not difficult, but you have to read the instructions. The speaker quality is really good as well. Music sounds great.

The echo plus is definitely leaps and bounds above the rest of the line when it comes to audio, and to me is the best looking. It's a tough pill to swallow at $150, but it is frequently down to $110 and worth it at that price

Alexa is like having encyclopedia at my beck and call. While she doesn't know every answer to every question she's pretty darn good. I especially like ordering again and being able to play music with just a request.

I started with an Echo Dot. I love it. I added an ORBI Mesh system with a Satellite that had Alexa built in. The ORBI Speaker had awful microphones and some limited functionality and I did not like it. So for the master bedroom, I set up the Echo 2.1 system with (2) Echo Plus' and the Echo Sub. I do like this set up a lot. It works very well as a wireless sound system and the mic pick up is amazing. The sound on the 2nd Gen Echo Plus is definitely better than the 3rd Gen Dot, but I can't comment on the standard 2nd Gen Echo. I wouldn't say it is an amazing sound system, but for a "smart speaker set up" it is does very well.

I bought this to replace my Echo Dot and Bose speaker. Now I don't have to turn on a separate speaker. It does all the great Alexa stuff and sounds great too. The bass is so good it was vibrating my toaster oven next to it.

This new Echo Plus sounds awesome! I love Alexa's and the new Echo Plus' capabilities. I just set her up last night. I also have the Echo from last year (love that) but this is even better! It (she) looks slick as well!

I'm still playing around. I'm putting in the light bulb soon. I have to try the lightbulb to see how everything really works. I've been playing games and asking questions. Enjoying this Echo Plus

This Echo Plus has the best speaker for playing music. It also works well with all the other features like lights, etc. This one is worth a little extra cost if you play a lot of music.

My wife and I just upgraded from the first generation Echo to this 2nd generation Echo Plus device. We love it! Much better design and look. The sound is incredible and very helpful with setting up a Smart Home.
