Love this device! We live in GA and are able to chat with family in another state. Love watching videos while cooking, turning the lights on and off. The list of what we do with this goes on and on. Loved it so much we sent another as a present so they can love it too.

Another great Echo product. Easy to set up and easy to use. Allows both audio and video communications. Lets me contact by friends, family and help providers with voice commands. If the contact has an Echo Spot, we can see each other as well as talk. Great price, too.

Used as a communication portal with elderly parent in nursing home. We can drop in and chat anytime and they don’t need to know how to answer it. But he quickly figured it out and now gets music, news, weather and jokes. It’s been good for him, and us.

Connect to aux and get a better and bigger surround sound. Very good price

I own a dot and a first gen echo and the sound from the show is way better than both of my other echoes. The video functions are nice but it is a pain to get it to play videos from my Amazon library. My family enjoys the calendar info and the news briefings that rotate on the screen.

Great size screen for sure, just made so bulky. Sib they could have kept screen big and streamlined it. After a few months it started to have a glitchy screen. Only negative is I was told would have to send to Amazon to fox unless I wanted to use my geek squad protection even though it was within the year warranty.

Not sure as this is a Christmas present and have not been able to use as it is not Christmas yet.

I bought this for my three daughters so they can stay in touch with one another while at college.

This echo show is the best. Great sound and plays any type of music you can ask for. My wife loves it. She uses it daily for almost anything you can ask it, like music, recipes, questions, news, sports on and on. Friends are fascinated seeing this, an absolute fantastic buy.

Just like the title says, this is something that is perfect to have in a room where you are sitting on a couch, and dont want to get up... No youtube though :(

I bought this as a gift for someone and she loves it. She bought Echo Dots for her 3 daughters.

The merging of an echo with a screen was and is fantastic idea. The first generation echo show was a step up for me as I had only used the echo dots. Now i can see a visual representation on a screen. Everything from words to songs, receipes, and even my Nest cameras. I am very pleased with this item. Sound quality is lightyears beyond the standard dot. Music plays louder and you will get a better bass response as well. The reason for the 3 stars is 1) being a first generation unit it is slower to respond than the newer units. 2) I noticed a glitch in the unit. The first unit I purchased was returned after less than a month because the screen had lines in it and it would constantly jump. After receiving a new unit, 2 months in the same thing began to happen. What I discovered has something to do with the auto screen brightness setting. Deactivating the auto brightness eliminated the problem. Not sure what is actually going on but several people have had the exact issue. Overall I still would recommend.

Got this as a gift for my sister and her fiancé and they love it. Works great with Phillips Hue

This is my 5th Amazon Alexa product. I used to have the Alexa Echo, but moved that up to my bedroom. Now I use the Echo Show downstairs and has good sound quality. I also like that I can add my Home Security system to operate through it and can see all my cameras. Great product.
