The first gen is far superior to the newer version on amazon. And cheaper.

I have really enjoyed these products so much I actually bought 3 of them. Fun to watch and even better if you are an Amazon Prime customer for music and video.

My wife is not much of a techie person. This is so easy for her and fun. That is important. By making it enjoyable and useful this is a great interactive tool.

We purchased the Amazon Show to use in our kitchen for tasks such as to-do lists, recipes, weather, music and communicating with our family in our household.

We're hoping the Echo show will allow us to elevate our experiences using the screen options for calling family & friends as well as reading recipes etc.

I recently purchased the Amazon show. It was easy to setup and use and I also added my own specialty screens and home screen. Extremely glad I bought it.

What a neat gadget. I thought I loved my echo dot n this is so much more. I like that u can video chat with other people who own it also. The kids love it

I very happy with my purchase. It was very easy to setup. The sound quality has been greatly improved compared to an Echo. The video quality is great.

Haven't had a chance to use it yet. My cousin had one at his house and he had it hooked up to his I ring. I said have to get one of those for my house.

This was easy to set up. Answers most questions that you ask it. Speaker is pretty good for it's size. Looking forward to getting more in other rooms.

I bought one for each of my sisters living in different states and we do video chat on them. works great. I use it all the time to play music when I go to bed or wake me up if I want to take a nap. I control the lights with it. I have several Echo DOTs and an firecube so I have them all over the house and garage and they are very convienient

I received an echo as gift and really enjoyed using it in my kitchen. I liked it so much that I decided to get one for my bedroom. When I saw how much more the Echo Show was able to do, I purchased one. I love being able to watch videos, view photos, see music lyrics, talk to friends and family who have the Alexa app. and so much more. It is awesome!

The Echo show with video screen is a nice upgrade to the other echo’s. News briefs with videos are nice. Very good sound quality for playing music.

I’ve had the original Echo in our bedroom since it first came out and I have always enjoyed how it makes life a little easier. It does what it says it can do and does it pretty well (features as stated on description). The one we’ve had had since been moved to our kids room. What makes this particular device more special for me is the screen. I can use it as digital photo frame, it displays time date weather all the time, it displays lyrics on most songs I request on amazon music, etc. I personally don’t think it’s too bright at night in our bedroom when everything else is turned off. It gives a very muted light that doesn’t bother me at all and I’m a very sensitive sleeper (no light, no noise). Occasionally I’d use the drop in feature from my Alexa app on my iPhone to see if my kids are thrashing our bedroom again, lol. I don’t worry about camera and privacy, you can always put it on Do Not Disturb mode or change it in the settings to just turn it off all the time. Personally it does not bother me. It flashes suggested things that Alexa can do for you to try so you’re always reminded that she can do more than just stand there as a clock/music player/smart home assistant. Awesome purchase, especially since I got it on sale for $100 off retail price!

Display is great for doing video calls with others with echo show. Works well with home automation devices. Sound is great for listening to music.

I own many dots to make my home a smart home. What I love about the show is how it can be used to view my cameras, see lyrics to music played off Amazon music, used as a digital frame, can visually see the weekly forecast or see the latest trailer for the next big movie. Everything I've loved about the echo dot is 10x much better with an echo show.

The product was very easy to set up and use right out of the box. After some time to update the software, the system came on and is so easy and convenient to use. I have a couple of other echo products and it is nice to see the pictures and numbers to go along with the voice. 1st generation product was reasonably priced and good enough for my use.

I haven’t received it yet however I have the dot and it is crazy awesome. So as I played with it in the store I know I’m going to love it at home

Wife wanted this gift and it did not disappoint, it's the next step in Amazon's capabilities, adding visual to the sound that was already there.
