9.5/10 Rating ! This has to be one of the best AI products I have used in a while. The screen for an smart home device can be very useful. It really can't compete with the Google home because the Show just brings convenience without having to call it. I primarily use the show to turn on/off my smart lights, simple cooking measurements, simple math, travel time, store location hours, calling, and video calling.... and more. Everything else like, news, calendars, weather are already displayed on screen. Definitely worth it if you plan on using all the minimum features above.

I was against getting the Amazon Echo Show because we have the Echo and the dot and I find Alexa is not that helpful. My husband convinced me to get the Echo Show so we could video call his sisters, (they live on the mainland), and parents. Since the sisters have apple products, we have android, and the parents have neither, the Echo Show makes it easy to keep in touch. The screen size is perfect and the sound is good. The downfall is that the Echo Show will not play YouTube videos and Alexa still isn't that helpful. In all fairness, I just got this for Christmas so I'm sure there is more to the Echo Show than I actually discovered so far.

I bought this as part of my boyfriend's Christmas present. I'm so excited to give it to him. He works from home and I thought that this screen would free up his computer screen while he works by being able to order from Amazon and play YouTube videos, etc. I also bought him some Echo Dots so he can sync them or both use as an intercom with his daughter and to play music in various rooms. In addition, I also purchased him the wall socket plugs so he can control the power on various things.

I was against getting something in my house like this being skeptical about hackers watching thru the device. However, this is the greatest thing since sliced bread! It can do just about everything! And the sound is fantastic when steaming music! Being able to change the dish network channel by saying it is so convenient while hands are in the flour (for ex.)! Access to information is endless and immediate with her replies! We love it!

Alexa Show is really well put together. The main reason for my purchase was to create my own 'surveillance system' linking my Ring Doorbell, and Ring Floodlights to view on command by Alexa on the Show Screen. Yes, you can talk to it, and get results for almost any query, but with the show, you get a lot more. The touch screen is great for video calls, especially when you install the Alexa App on your family cell phones. Alexa can scan items via UPC and order them on Amazon, or tell you where to get them. The recipes you ask for are not only spoken to you, but SHOWN to you. Also, when music plays, you can see the lyrics on screen (If you use Amazon Music to play the music). You can ask for a news briefing, and you SEE the news, highlights, etc. The speakers aren't quite up to the same standard as the echo series, but it's close. The sound fills the room nicely. When the Echo Show is not being immediately used, the screen shows a picture of your choice, making it a digital frame too. Overall, the device is very nice, and they are constantly releasing new skills for Alexa to use, so it seems like there is always something new to wow you. Turning on and off lights, adjusting your thermostat, playing music, viewing security cameras are all just the standard duties, there is WAY more to do with this device!

not a real fan of AI, but Alexa has become quite handy, entertaining, and informative. The Show itself, allows us to contact family that is in Florida and teleconference with them, in 1 simple step. Shows family photos stored in Amazon account. One word, simply AMAZING!!! Bought 1 for my parents, and they USE it!!!

I have enjoyed using my Echo Show in the kitchen mostly. I can watch Amazon Prime Videos and listen to music while cooking. I am able to access recipes, chat with friends and keep up with our schedules. For our family it is a great fit

We have a few Echo products in our house and this has emerged as our favorite. The flash briefing video skills have become something that the entire family will watch each morning. With local news, Jimmy Fallon, and several national news options, there is something for everyone to enjoy.

I am loving my Amazon Echo Show. It makes life easier! I love being able to ask what the weather is going to be or play some music just by asking Alexa. I also love being able to video call friends and family that have an Echo Show or the Alexa App. Overall it is a great product!

I own multiple echoes and I like the show the best. The screen adds a lot of value in my opinion. I really like being able to see upcoming calendar events and daily news. My kids like watching cartoons from Amazon Prime while eating breakfast. The speakers are great and put out more than enough quality sound for their size. At $149 it was a great deal.

I read reviews on Best Buy and several other sites about the positives and negatives and decided to pull the trigger. Pros: 1) the sound is better than some of the reviews state. I placed it next to my Echo and tested music from both and the Show had no distortion. 2) Adds the 'Multi-Room Music feature. I have a Echo and several Dots and it turns my entire house into a theater. I plugged one of the Dots into my Samsung soundbar in the living room and the house rocks. 3) Customization of the background screen 4) The constant flashing of news and facts. I'm always asking Alexa to provide more information on certain flashes 5) My parents are getting the Show for Christmas and we will be able to go live like Facetime Cons: 1) Had an issue with the connection since my Tap was located in same room. Rebooted the Show and it seemed to fix the issue.

I know it has so many features, and I don't even use Amazon much, not even a prime member. However, I love this product, I used it as a display clock, morning alarm, music player which Amazon allows free upload your own music and steaming them without a regular free account. Then I regularly asked it for weather and some stupid questions. I setup my work address so every morning it estimates me the driving time for real traffic. Then I added some outlets for voice controlling my lights, hot water boiler, cooling fan. Once you get use to voice control stuffs, you can never go back to stone age. I simply taped the camera hole as I don't want NSA or hackers monitor my room all the time; and there's a mute button on the top if you don't want it listening all the time also. For the basic feature I used, it already worth for the price.

The Echo Show provides a extensive foundation to build on with convenient voice-activated access to home control devices, useful information and entertainment media. The 7-inch screen makes all the difference over other Echo devices. Alexa's responses sometimes have a sense of humor as well. Once you learn how to phrase your queries, Alexa will tirelessly respond. The sleek design fits well in any decor, responding to verbal requests from across the room, providing amazing functionality. I love being able to set alarms, timers, check calendar events, play games, ask trivia questions, control my media via Fire TV, Logitech Hub and Echo Connect. The list of advantages is endless. Every home should have at least one! "Alexa, give yourself a pat on the back."

I upgraded from Echo and have no regrets. I didn't liked design from day 1 but after mounting on the wall the screen looks good. I like it more then I except it. Much easier for reordering or shopping on Amazon.

The Echo Show is a fantastic purchase! Would recommend buying it in addition to the Echo dots! Kids have fun seeing the words to the songs that they love to sing! Pictures, movie trailers, etc - Great product!

I have multiple echos and dots but this one is way better. Who doesn’t like seeing the lyrics of the music, or using video chat with other echo shows. I have two and thinking of getting another one soon.

The Echo Show has excellent sound quality. It is awesome to be able to see on a largr screen people at your door with use of a video doorbell and to see calendar events, song lyrics, etc.

Great sound, easy set up. The screen seems sort of wasteful now that I've been playing with it. Maybe it has the capability to work as a digital picture frame....I'm just certain yet. I was able to set one picture to it...Not multiple. Would be nice if could be used for Hulu or Netflix and stuff since the picture and sound are so clear. I like the visual to do and shopping lists. Still worth the purchase. A good want to have...just not a must have...then again maybe I have not tapped into all it can do.

Easy to use and awesome voice assist device. I like the video screen on this product that really expands the capability of alexa. I use this device for pretty much anything.

I was using the original Echo seldomly. Then I decided to get the Show... I use the Show a lot more. Was simple to set up and you can make calls with video. Great product
