The Echo Show is an excellent companion for the Echo Plus. The sound quality is very good and grouping allows you to network your Echos and play the same music throughout your home. The Show’s Video quality is excellent. You can also access your Ring doorbells’ and spotlights’ videos. It works well with Phillips hue bulbs and Leviton switches. It’s a nice home automation addition.

I have a few echos around the house but this is the best. It has the screen and the sound is incredible. I really love playing song quiz on this. Also you can control your lights and see your security cameras from the screen.

This is a great product. Pretty easy to set up and use. We are able to listen to music, make lists, watch videos, make phone calls, and add items to the calendar. Really makes your life easier, as long as you are ok with Alexa spying on you!

I love having The echo show. It sits in my living Room and is so easy to use. My grand kids love using it to play the music that they love listening to. One of the best features is having the words scroll across the screen

I have the Echo dot, Echo Plus and now Echo show. I feel this was the completion of Echo products. Love the video. Love that the words for all songs show up on the Show. Kinda like Karaoke. The base from this little thing is super powerful. Not quite as powerful as the Echo Plus but almost. Will love it more when youtube comes back. Crossing fingers lol. Enjoy

I had reservations for the purchase of this Echo show, they quickly eroded after setting it up and using it now since Christmas day. Everyone in my family loves the camera function, sound quality, picture resolution and basically everything about it! It isn't totally perfected yet but it is a work in progress when it comes to the skills and how you choose to use this device since it is definitely designed for Amazon and their customers. Versatile enough so that everyone could find something to enjoy from music, pictures, videos to having your favorite book read to you. One of my favorite features are the Ole time radio series offered in the skills. Takes you back in time as you relax and very similar to a good book. Just my preference and it does offer much more and new skills are daily being added. Although we have several echo dots everywhere, my 6yo loves to come to the echo show to hear her music or to see new pictures uploaded to our cloud. The sound is amazing for its size, that's a huge plus. Pictures are dynamic and so far the only issue with me anyway is it's shape. Slightly odd but it seems to blend into our decor pretty well. Hopefully newer and even better skills will be made as this is a real gem in the rough with tons of applications still ahead that it can be used for. I have it connected to our home security system, robot vacuum cleaner and at times to my cell phone. Taken all together it is useful, fun and a nice addition for our gadget loaded home.

The Echo Show is a very awesome product because of Alexa itself! She will answer questions you ask her, play music on your demand, and you can even ask her to make calls and video chats for you. I also like the fact that it sounds very nice and the video quality is unlike anything I've ever seen in a hybrid tablet product. A must have for your home!

We recently bought new front doors with no peep holes so bought the ring to be able to see who is at our front door but wanted to have something everyone at the house can check the front door with instead of our phones so we purchased this echo show. We opted for this first edition since it was on sale for a great price and we love it. I really like the size. It allows me to see who is at the front door perfectly. I really enjoy asking Alexa to play music for me and like how the lyrics show up. There are so many things to do with this for simple tasks that I found it more useful than I expected since I originally was just buying to connect to my ring. I have yet to use the phone call feature but am excited to try it soon.

I have zero negative things to say about my Echo Show. I can be literally 20 feet away and it understands what I'm saying without any issues, and that's with a tv, and tons of background noise. The video feature is extremely clear but of course, a great wifi signal helps. Overall, I plan on purchasing more in the future.

I am an Alexa groupie, when I got the Echo Show it was even better. I loved the lyrics shown on the screen as a song played. How many of us know words to so many songs? My techie daughter & I use the video calling feature. But best of all for me is the security system. I am taking care of elderly family members & I have set up cameras so I can check on them without having to run from room to room or if they are outside I can finish cooking while making sure everyone is ok. At night I can use the voice command to turn off all the lights using the kasa outlet. In the morning I like to get the news before even opening my eyes. I know it plays prime movies and I need to play with it more. But so far so good.

This item is a very capable home companion device to perform and carry out Alexa based commands and skills. Upon comparison to the newer 2nd generation Echo Show, it is a much smaller screen but the display seems sharper probably due to a higher pixel density of a smaller screen. The sound of the 2nd gen is better than this but not by much. The thing that makes this a better choice (to me) over the second gen is the price. For what amounts to be about less than half (depending on the sales prices going on and whatever particular time), this Echo Show is a better value. Show mode doesn't really do much to utilize the display, so the larger screen of the Gen 2 is not really a huge factor anymore. You can only stand seeing so much news headlines and song lyrics while a tune is playing to go so far before you realize the screen is not being used to its fullest potential for a home companion device.

The Echo Show is a version of Alexa with ability to visualize things. When I was cooking dinner and wanted to finish a show, I was able to ask Alexa to play the show from my Amazon Prime account. The Show was in my kitchen, easy to view, and enabled my kids to watch cartoons in the living room. I love it!

I would say this is the best Echo device out there. The sound quality is just amazing and i love the fact that it has a big screen and can easily video chat or watch some vidoes.

This is the main reason why I went with Amazon's Echo ecosystem vs Google Home. I bought one as a gift to my sister so I can easily videochat with my family. My niece and nephew tend to fight over the Echo Show when they want to sing along to their favorite songs with the lyrics on the screen. My only wish was that there was an HDMI out to connect it to a larger monitor. Huge missed opportunity in my opinion.

My daughter had purchased one of these last year, and was enjoying it, I purchased a pair of echo dots, and enjoyed the functionality of having them around the house, the Echo show was a natural progression from there, I purchased 4 Arlo Q cameras & the Show interfaced flawlessly … placed the show on my night stand, can play music from my apple music account, Pandora & now my Amazon Prime account. This makes it a totally functional device... and @$99 a steal. I enjoyed it so much I bought a 2nd generation also on sale & moved the 1st gen to the Kitchen... So we've got Alexa all 0ver the house & enjoying them all.

Our 5th Echo Show. We love the Drop In feature, allowing us to use them as an intercom. The ease of playing music on all of them at once throughout the house, and controlled from any device is used daily. The connection to our Sonos system is a real plus. Also connected to our Dish TV receiver.

Gave this to my dad who is 90 and he is computer literate, but this is great for music , weather, sports scores, Etc, because all you have to be able to say is Alexa, then the command. Truth is after me and wife tested it for 3 days in our kitchen we bought a second one for our house.

I had the Echo previously, but having the screen opens up more options for Alexa. I find it helpful to be able to glance at the screen and see things like time and weather. I also have cameras setup and I can use Alexa to view these feeds. While the unit is kind of large, it is stable and supports touch. I haven't tried video calling or playing videos, but the screen quality seems pretty good.

I love my new Echo Show!!! I have an echo device in four places in my home. I love using them like an intercom. But my favorite is the Echo Show next to the chair I use in the family room. It is so nice to have handy videos, and video calling with my family. Easy on screen set up.

Purchased the Echo Show for my wife and she loves it! Full of great information, weather and more. Can control lights and various things at the house. Even askes you the question of the day! Easy set up and to use. Mainly bought it to monitor the Arlo Pro 2 cameras we purchased.
