We have several Echo devices throughout the house but the Echo Show (2nd Gen) has been the best so far. We really like the fact that you can view upcoming events, scroll recipes, do video chats, etc. My wife is a big fan of the song lyrics scrolling while we listen to Amazon Prime Music. The sound from this speaker is very robust so there's no need for an additional speaker. That being said, you can easily pair a bluetooth speaker to it if you feel the need to. Overall, this is a great product!

I bought this as a Christmas present for a relative and she absolutely loves it. It’s very easy to use and the picture is very clear. She told me that she wasn’t even sure she wanted it, but now that she has it she uses it all the time. She enjoys getting the news, looking on the internet, asking for quick information, listening to music, calling her friends, and etc. She has thanked me multiple times for getting her such a great gift.

Was looking at several other home automation devices... already had the Echo, Echo Dot & Echo Spot... just got the Google Hub but screen wasn't big enough so was thinking bout the Facebook Portal but found out that all its really good for is video chatting so got the Echo Show (2nd Gen)... 10" screen... PERFECT...!!! Sounds great & looks great too...!!! Can even karaoke if you want... it even shows you the words on the screen. Of course, now they all work together & can play music on all at once...!!! WOOHOOOOO...!!!

Love the Echo Show! Decided to switch to the Echo Show to work with our Ring Doorbell. It's great to be able to see who is at our door and to be able to communicate with them. We bought another one for my mom for this ability alone! Also gives our children the ability to check the door when we are not home without having to install another app on their phones. We play some of the games as a family, video chat with others who have one, listen to music, and the boys ask a lot of questions. LOVING IT!

I bought the Amazon-Show because of function and screen size. I waited to buy until the screens grew to the size I felt was acceptable. This screen is a really good size for an older person like me. I can easily see at a glance whatever my Ring cameras are showing or any menu I need to see. It was easy to set up and works great with all my smart products. As a bonus, the speaker is really good. Music sounds good and so audible books.

Couldn't be happier. Love the Alexa eco-system: music, news, personal photos, voice integration, even recipes when I'm so inclined. Plus headlines, etc. There are games but I've never done them. I love the larger screen; sounds a bit better as well- very subjective as I always enjoyed my music on my 1st gen. And this one does not disappoint. The 2nd gen aesthetically it is a definite improvement over the 1st gen. Very satisfied.

We're still getting to know her, but already she's making things easier for everyone... To Do lists, our family schedule on the home screen & the Drop In feature is mommy's lil helper when it comes rouding up the herd of cats (aka my kids) for mealtime (so worth it to put Spots in the kids' rooms!). Set up was super easy, the picture is crisp & vibrant & the sound is amazing; our JBL Flip has been retired to the family room. Definitely a "must have" for busy families.

I really love the upgraded size and picture quality of this echo show 10 inch. I have recent photos of family streaming as a slide show all day. I also use to answer my ring door bell or check on other outdoor camera’s when alert is given. I highly recommend upgraded size especially if buying for a senior. Also if you already have other devices it sets up in no time at all.

I can't speak to using the Zigbee hub for smarthome applications, but we have the old Gen 1 show, and now the Gen 2. The difference is night and day. The Gen 2 operates smoothly and the sound quality is better night and day. It makes the Gen 1 almost seem like junk. It's smooth and easy for watching media, getting updates, and video chatting between Alexa devices.

We love the new Echo Show’s larger screen and better sound sound quality. We have original Echo Shows in each room of our house, and the new one in the kitchen, where we spend our mornings listening to music. The speakers sound almost as good as our Sonos Play 5. Grouping all the Echo Shows together is nice when filling the whole house with music. We use the drop-in intercom feature all the time. The announce command is also great, and we use that a lot also.

I have several other Alexa products and they are great for accessing the Internet with voice requests. Alexa what is the weather for the weekend, etc. I’ve recently started using Alexa for timers and alarms for appointments and cooking. The Echo show allows me to take this a step further by, for example, calling my brother on his Alexa and seeing him while we talk. I’m even thinking of buying a second one for my office.

I purchased this on a need for beta testing I do for Ring Products. I was hesitant to spend $200 on this not knowing if I would use it after I was done with my beta testing obligations. I am happy to report, we love it. I have it currently sitting under my television so its always in my field of view. I have a number of Skills enabled on my profile as does my Wife. I truly don't have any complaints about he Echo Show we have. My only desire would be just based around the growth and maturity of Alexa in general. I look forward to her ability to in a more automatic fashion recognize different users and utilize their skills. For example although Alexa does not my Wife and I. I have Ring Skills enabled in my account that my Wife does not have. So if the Alexa is in my Wifes profile and I tell her to show my Front Door Camera... she does not understand the ask. I have to have her switch to my account for it to work. Again, this is not a reflection on the Echo Show it's more of an Alexa needs to mature gripe. The screen and the volume on the Echo Show is very good. It had be view easily in all matters of sunlight or darkness and adjusts brightness automatically. I am glad we purchased it and will be buying another one for use in the Kitchen.

This bigger Echo Show has very good sound and the screen is large enough for older eyes. It integrates nicely with the Echo, Ring devices and provides some nice/ intriguing AI. While authomations projects on the Alexa platform are still crude and not 100% reliable, it is a nice platform with lots of potential. When you add ITTTF and Alexa developer console it can become quite a convincing solution at an incredible low price point.

I have been watching this for some time and when it went on sale, I got it right away. I love being able to ask Alexa things and to see results on the screen. I like being able to check our security camera and see it on the screen without getting up or looking at our phone. I really enjoy listening to music and having the words scroll on the screen just in case we are in the mood for karaoke. Really glad to bought this. We enjoy it everyday.

Sound is amazing. I had the previous model In my office and had to get this bigger and newer model for my living room. I got a nice 360 deg stand and a screen protector from amazon, and got lots of compliments on it. I love to sing and this made it easy for me to check on old and new songs with my echoshow showing me the lyrics. My daughters finally got theirs too as well. We love it.

I’ve had my Echo Show 2nd generation for over 2 years now. It sits on a stand on my kitchen table. It shows my time, date and outside temperature. When I play songs it often shows me the words. I can make phone call, listen to the news or watch movies. Never had any problems with it but when I do, I will get another.

I was told at the store that this unit does not need a stand and they were right. It's a much bigger screen and I think the screen size is just right. The speakers in the unit are great. There are only 2 issues I have; one,the sound is not auto regulated because when the station switches to commerical is gets real loud; two, sometimes it doesn't do as I ask.

Decided to have this Alexa addition in the kitchen. Specifically bought it for displaying recipes and having a screen available to see Ring doorbell and Wyze security cameras. It does all these things very well. It is not a tablet or streaming video like Netflix kind of thing. It can do those things, but you have to use some work arounds for that kind of thing. I have both the Show and the Spot and it is nice to have the video component for Alexa. There is a lot of room for improvement to better utilize the video component which why I think it’s a little on the pricey side for its capabilities. Overall a keeper though for me.

I got this for my mom and she loves it! We don't live in the same state so the video chat option was a huge selling point for us. The speaker is nice as well and gets decently loud. The recipe app is also nice to have since Alexa reads off each step to you or will look up a recipe for anything you ask her.
