Happy to be able to watch world news like Aljazeera and NHK World just by voice command...so far I like it..my minor complain, too much bass, it muddle the sound in low volume..other than that I would recommend it for the screen size, very good in phone calls , the mikes are sensitive and maybe if they upgrade the firmware will be muchbetter and smarter.

What I like - seeing my ring cameras. Seeing lyrics to songs . Seeing vevo music videos . Seeing cnn news brief while taking a #2 What I don’t like - not being able to connect my sling account YouTube being limited to a bing result Overall a cool addition to my bathrooms but I would like to see sling option so I can actually watch the news or something else while showering and not just briefs that last 1 minute

Since getting this I used it for so many things but the best thing by far has been the SUGARMATE Skill . This is a kill that connects with Dexcom . A CGM it shows a graph of my blood glucose . And tells me what it is when I ask . A great tool for diabetics .

I really like this device, and I would love to give it a 5 star. However, I think that I got a faulty one and I have to return it because there are some lines that appears on the device when I’m video chatting with my family. I’ll probably give it 5 stars ones I return it and pick up a new one.

2 exact years, started getting display errors. Works but I see the end soon.

After 18 months screen went blank randomly and refuses to work. Other people have written reviews about this issue with their screens dying after ~17 months. Don’t purchase this product complete waste of money !

Amazon Echo Show 5 is a helpful device. I find myself using many times throughout my day and night. I keep it in the kitchen, and have gotten lots of use out of it. It’s aesthetically pleasing and takes up little to no counter space. Set up was painless and straightforward with every step clearly written out for you, just follow the on screen instructions. Downloading the Alexa app is equally as easy, and allows you to get the most out of this device. The device itself is 5.8”x3.4”x2.9”, touchscreen is 5.5” and it works well. The audio/speakers sound great, crisp and clear. It picks up my voice from across the downstairs. The colors are good and visuals clear (960x480 resolution). There is a built-in camera shutter and mic/camera off button for privacy. Alexa has thousands and thousands of skills to help make daily life easier. I particularly enjoy being able to follow step by step recipe/cooking directions. I can watch music videos, read song lyrics, listen to radio, listen to podcasts, watch movie trailers, get the weather and traffic reports, check my email, make up my morning routine, create to do lists, and set up my calendar. I can even communicate, like an intercom system, with my family upstairs that have an echo device in their room. It’s convenient. Oh, I also love the sunrise simulation wake up alarm. By also using an Amazon Smart Plug, you can control your other smart devices through voice control. Like ,”Alexa turn off the lights” or “Alexa turn on the coffee pot”. It’s fantastic. Amazons built-in Silk browser works well. The abilities/ options/ skills with Alexa are many. The Echo Show 5 was a great addition to our home. I look forward to learning and using all the skills Alexa has to offer. With things the way they are in life now, I welcome any and all help to make daily life a bit easier and more enjoyable.
