I think the stand should automatically come with the Echo Show 8, it just looks nice. - - - - - I did buy this thinking and reading here on the Best Buy questions and answers that it was able to be tilted perfectly vertical or even a little more at a downward angle - - - - - Like if it were on your nightstand and your bed was maybe lower than the nightstand. - - - - - So, No - it does Not tilt totally vertical - I have pics to show I still recommend it :) :) :) I had some Best Buy Reward Points - - So I got this for only $9.99 :)

I'm very happy with our purchases! We bought two Echo shows!! A lot of fun! Controls my lights from them, set alarms, set reminders etc. I have the echo set up to wake me up with music, when I say I'm awake it turns on my lights, tells me that mornings weather, and gives me my Fox News!!

Me and my youngest daughter use our Echo 8 all the time. We can see each other clearly as well as hearing each other great. Now I am working on other family members to get a Echo Show 8.

I love my echo show 8 ,its give me a lot of features for my everyday needs.....

I like that it let's me move the show more easily!

This has saved my neck from hurting as I put my laptop on it.

I admit, I was skeptical about buying the stand. I was afraid the echo could easily fall off the stand when trying to tilt or adjust the angle. Now, I'm very glad we purchased the stand. It holds very well and I also feel that the sound is better while using the stand. The only downfall that I feel isn't a big deal is that it isn't as flexible as it says..either way I highly suggest this for anyone that purchases an echo :)

Works as advertised simple to install and use. Have had installed for over a year and no problems.

I like this stand to elevate my Amazon Echo Show 8. I also have bought one for my Echo show 5. It allows me to adjust the viewing screen up or down and it looks very attractive. If you use it in the bathroom or kitchen it will keep water away from the bottom if it gets on the counter. I opted for this one instead of the swivel one because that one did not have the tilt option which I feel is more important and useful. It is easy enough to turn this device if needed.

I freaking love this thing! So much great info at the sound of my voice. The picture and sound quality are excellent! The screen size is perfect. My husband started to listen to video casts on it too. I can unplug it and plug it in some where else in the house and it immediately recognizes my wifi so I don't have to set it up each time. I might get the portable battery though, or another Show 8.
