I like that it has a touchscreen and can show you the time and temperature. However, the touchscreen functionality isn't that great, it kind of lags and not super responsive. Sound quality is alright. Microphone isn't great, a lot of times Alexa can't hear me unless I shout. It was a great value at half off price during Black Friday. I'd say it's definitely an upgrade and better than the original Echo Dot.

This has to be the best item to gift to anyone who sits at a desk for their day job. To be honest this is a great gift for adults And youths. I highly recommend everyone to add this to their Christmas shopping lists!!!

The 2024 version has deeper bass and clearer highs than I expected. I’ve used it to listen to music, podcasts, and even as a quick speaker when I don’t feel like turning on my main system, and it always surprises me with how good it sounds. Alexa Integration Being able to ask Alexa for the weather, set reminders, control smart lights, and even play sleep sounds without touching my phone has been a real convenience. It also integrates seamlessly with my routines—like automatically dimming the lights and starting calming music when I say “Alexa, good night.” Why I Liked It What really won me over was how practical and personal it feels. Unlike a regular alarm clock, I get my daily schedule, news briefings, and weather forecast right when I wake up. Unlike a regular smart speaker, it actually looks good sitting out in the open. And unlike my phone alarm, it doesn’t pull me into endless scrolling first thing in the morning.

The sound and bass are incredible! This is a huge upgrade from the Echo Show and Echo Dot. It’s the perfect bedside alarm clock and speaker, thanks to its compact size, variety of color options, and excellent sound quality. A solid 10 out of 10! The sound quality alone sold me—it’s miles better than my two Apple HomePod minis!

We got this for our 10-year-old to have an easy-to-set alarm and to be able to play music to go to sleep to. He loves it! He likes being able to ask questions that occur to him, and we've got it set to block explicit requests and songs with explicit lyrics (not that he's interested in any of that yet). He can also call the Echo in our bedroom if he needs us in the night for whatever reason. Setup is a breeze as long as you have a phone with Bluetooth and wifi access. We've even taken it with us on trips. Great device, would buy again.
