I'm already the owner of an Echo and a couple Echo Dots, but didn't want the giant square of an Echo Show, so I decided on the Echo Spot. I purchased it with the intent of putting it on my nightstand...Use it as a clock, an alarm clock, a radio, etc...Everything an Echo is used for. So far, so good...Honestly my only real complaint is that I wish it were a tiny bit bigger. It's tough to tell the size online...And while it's not a bad size, I just wish it were a tiny bit bigger. All in all, I'd give 4.5 stars if I could.

All the fun features of Echo and Alexa, easy to set up and operate.

The spot is small enough to not take up too much space, and functions just like the larger echo. The screen is helpful, but like others have said, too small to watch things on it! The video call drop in is neat if you have a use for that feature. Where this device really stands out is as a replacement for a standard alarm clock, or your smartphone. No more reaching or fumbling to find your phone or hit the alarm button on your old alarm clock. Just say alexa, turn off alarm. Wonderful!!!!!

I’ve always had nothing but Apple products so purchasing this was hard but I’m glad I did. It does everything it says it will and Alexa is extremely easy to use. If you’re worried about your privacy because of Alexa or Amazon then you have bigger things to worry about because just about everything these days tracks your calls, pictures, and everyday living.

I am a google guy. But when needing to choose a product for my mom to use, I came to the conclusion that the Echo Spot was the best option. She loves it. She can see it scroll the weather or news and even talks to it all day long. I play on putting one in her bedroom and one for my room so we can talk back and forth with drop in.

I reviewed all available Alexa/Google items on YouTube! I bought the Spot! It is excellent. I use on my nightstand. I purchased WEMO plug to set up. I now control my bedroom lights. The screen clock can be changed to your likings. I also use it to make calls, the spot is a great speakerphone and video phone. Very easy to set up. I am going to buy another one!

If you are wanting to replace your clock the echo spot is for you. This gives you so much more than the time. You can ask weather conditions or current news. I bought to replace alarm clock in bedroom for my mother. She loves it. We also have it connected to our weomo device to control lighting so I can’t say enough good about this product.
