While relatively new to the Echo products, I bought the Spot for our bedroom a few weeks after the Echo. It’s so much fun and I’ve had a blast playing random songs. I also love the nature sounds when I can’t sleep.

I have two Alexa speakers already and wanted to give my adult children the Spots for their video capabilities. They don't have any AI now and I'm sure they will enjoy them. Especially my granddaughter.

Prett much a stylish echo clock. Does everything that other echo devices do, with a little round screen. The only issue is that the microphones on this device is not as sensitive as other echo products. I think this is because the product is designed to be a bedroom alarm clock more than anything.

It’s expensive if you are using as an alarm clock. But it is very versatile and work well with other Amazon products. I like the way you can use these devices as an intercom or use as a video phone.

I bought 1 of these for my husband and 1 for my parents for Christmas. We have been having so much fun with Alexa. Still trying to figure out the right words to use to get our favorite radio station. My kids like to play games with it. My parents are enjoying it and even finding it easy to use.

I have always used a digital alarm, setting it 10 minutes fast to provide a buffer for the periodic snooze. With this alarm, just tell it the alarm time and you are set. Works great.

I gave the Echo Spot to my wife for Christmas. She swore she would never give up her alarm clock. She loves it! She threw the old alarm clock out 2 days after I put it in. Great Gift Idea

If you were wondering if the screen was really necessary on the Echo Show, you'll really question the screen on the Spot. Amazon hasn't seemed to really take advantage of the Show's screen and the screen here on the Spot feels almost needless. Sure, it can show you the time persistently and is nice enough to dim it during the night. But after that, the screen doesn't serve much purpose. It's too small to share much besides the time and basically functions as an expensive alarm clock. Unless you're really entrenched in Alexa world and would like a bedside clock that can control the smart things in your house, I'm not sure this does much for the casual user.

I have one of these in 2 other rooms along with my Echo Show. I use them all the time to add to my shopping lists, weather, how to spell words plus ask any question that comes to mind.

This is quite the upgrade over the dot. While it's not perfect it's still good. It no longer has the problems recognizing my voice but now there's a lag sometimes when it accomplishes a task, like turning off the lights. I'd still recommend it to those looking to upgrade from the dot.

I love this spot so much that I had to order two more for my two daughters who was always moving mine to various parts of the house when they come to visit. I can even call them on it.

While we enjoy the convenience of this item and use it as a bedside alarm clock, it's freaky thinking of it listening to everything we say and do. If you don't mind that Amazon is eavesdropping, this is the item for you!

I bought this for my wife. I did not have any interest in something like this. We have the echo and I thought it was enough. After seeing her use it I really want one for myself now lol

This does everything I can check in on the kids, see/ hear about the forecast and wake up to any tunes I want to hear. It also is great for white noise or audiobooks to put you to sleep.

I purchased this online and was surprised how small it was. The display is a little difficult for me to read from a distance with my poor eyesight. Otherwise, it is an attractive and well built unit. Our first unit was an Echo Dot, and it is easy to communicate between the two.

We now have the echo spot in the Echo Show and use them like an intercom system in our house one upstairs and one downstairs in the video enables us to see each other it works perfectly

We keep this in the bathroom and have routines set up so that we can listen to the news/weather, etc while getting ready for work. Easy to use - we love Alexa!

I just purchased this product as a Christmas gift & have not yet removed gifts from under the tree. So far, I am happy with all of the Amazon electronics I have purchased in the past.

I was skeptical of this, but the $40 off two made the decision easier. I was worried that the bright screen would make it impractical as a bedroom alarm clock, but it darkens at night. Nice job.
