I enjoy this Echo Spot very much. It displays the time and weather as well as scrolling news headlines and Alexa commands. I also get a flash briefing of NBA scores whenever I ask.

You can ask to see the weather, get the news with a video flash briefing, set an alarm, see lyrics with Amazon Music, see your calendar, browse, and listen to Audible audiobooks, and more.

I love this! My son is able to video chat with me while I’m at work. We also use it as an alarm, I can control my security system from it. So I’m happy with my purchase so far.

I love the echo spot and use it daily. I take away one star because it doesn't allow me to tilt the device so the screen is pointing at something besides the ceiling. This design makes dropping in whan you aren't home useles because I can't see anything but the ceiling.

I like gadgets; this was originally going to replace the dot in the bedroom but for fear of the camera being accessed without knowledge I moved it to my craft room. It's nice having this little gadget to keep me on track with projects and remind me of the little things.

Great Technology. Takes a litte getting use to, but benefits are great once you get a handle on everything it can do. Only constructive critisim would be that more menu options on the device itself would be helpful as some settings are only available on interface device.

I plan to use this and an Echo Show to communicate across my house. So far, I just have the one spot. I like asking Alexa questions and it's fun to have as a clock on the nightstand.

I have my Echo Spot for over a year and have never had any issues. The screen is small so has limited functionality, but it does what it is supposed to do. Of course, you have the "always listening" dilemma to wrestle with when buying these devices.

Gift for my daughter and she loves it. Easy to connect to other alexa devices and connects to our ring doorbell as well so she can see the front door from her room!

The Echo Spot works great with Ring, I can check my cameras when motion is detected, or just to have a live look. Also can it does everything the dot can plus facetime.

The Echo isn't bad for what it is. Pretty responsive on commands and volume is adequate but not loud. The screen is a bit small for what it is intended for. I would purchase any of the newer gen Echo's if the screen is an important factor.

We bought this for my wifes mom for her birthday after she liked ours. The only bad thing is Alexa no longer supports YouTube videos due this riducalas amazon and google rivalry.

I purchased this Alexa device for a friend. She is still trying to determine if the speaker is loud enough. In general, I think all of the Alexa devices are great.

Great alarm clock, I originally bought an echo show for my Bedroom but it was way too bright and we give me up this little device is perfect and I control everything from my bed

It took a few extra minutes to set up as I wanted it to be on my account not the wives. Very pleased with quality of picture. Its on my desk so size of image is not a concern.

I love the echo spot! It does pretty much everything, movies, music, recipes, etc! If you love the alexa products you will love this one!

I got this to put in my kitchen to go with the echo show in living room for I liked the show, it was too small for me to see the time at night. I gave it to my son and he loves it and uses it as an alarm. I would get one for bedroom or place on my desk.

I call this a smart clock, because 95% of the time, that's basically what it his -- its great to change audio in the room, and ask how do do simple tasks as well!!
