The set-up was very easy, especially since Amazon pre-configured the Spot to work with my Amazon account. What made it so smooth Was that choosing wifi network and entering the password was done all on the Spot - no need to use the Alexa App. After setup there is a brief video showing you how to do certain things - like how to get to the settings screen by swiping down.

I love the design easy to use bright looks good and very functional.

We have Amazon dots, speakers, and I have the spot as an alarm clock by my bed. It’s great. Looks like a clock but yet responds to all questions visually. Love being able to easily see the clock, the alarms, calendar details, weather, music, etc all from the same device. Highly recommend.

Bought in conjunction with Echo Show for family. Easy set up from phone or desktop. Get out of it what you want. Alexa will do just about anything you ask if you add the proper skill sets from the app. I utilize mine daily for weather, news and stock updates. Lesser cost alternative to Show if you want multiple units. Highly recommend Amazon Echo Spot and Best Buy.

I bought this more for an alarm than for anything else. Once I received, I realized it is more than just an alarm clock. You can do video calls, set up to receive daily news and listen to music. It also connects to my wireless speaker. Another thing I like is if the electricity goes down, once the electricity comes back it will automatically set the right time.

I love this spot Alexa. It does so many amazing things. I set this unit up in a room where my dogs are during the day so that I can drop in and check on the dogs in the middle of the day. The facetime type video and sound are good quality. I found that I can be entertained for hours by the games/skills that Alexa has to offer without touching the device.

I was skeptical about Amazon’s Alexa devices until I saw a friend use his with smart lighting. This thing is seriously cool. It plays music, controls the lights & tv. I say Alexa, start my day, and she turns on the lights, gives me the weather, news, & traffic on my route to work. I got one for my parents, & I can drop in on them with video calls. I think it’s great.

I did not really know too much about it before buying it, other than that I wanted an advanced clock radio. However, the more I learn about it, the happier I am. The possibilities with this unit is endless. Now I use it every day, to wake me up, play my favorite music, and get the latest news and weather forecast and to control the lighting in the house. Amazing!!!

Love how I can change the command name so it doesn't interact with the fire tv cube and also like that I can make phone calls and answer incoming calls from the echo spot. Sound quality is good and the display is crystal clear. Only thing is I had to repeat the command name twice to get its attention after it responded to my question and comment

We bought 2 Echo Shows when they were first released. They are in our kitchen and living room and we really love them. I wished the screens were smaller so we could put them in our bedroom so when this was introduced, we knew it would be perfect! We bought 2, one for our bedroom and one for my son's apartment. Love seeing our pictures on the screen!

EASY TO USE/GREAT DEVICE/COMPACT WOULD BUY AS A GIFT

Perfect for a bedside Alexa powered device. Having the power of Alexa next to the bed is wonderful but also having the functionality of a clock actually makes it great. The auto-dimming allows it to stay on but not light up the room at night. I love waking up to a weather report, calendar check, and a new briefing.

The screen is bigger than I thought. Works great for such a small footprint. The endless options with Alexa are fun, from FaceTime to news and weather, to viewing baby cameras wirelessly. The audio outs are a plus for playing music in the house through the surround sound, which is only available on the echo spot.

Needed a new alarm clock that would wake me up to music. Apparently there are not many left to buy that have good reviews. I saw this. I already have 3 echo dots. This has a great clock look and a optional stand. You can also tell it to wake you up to music i including to local radio stations using iheart radio. It worked out well.

Very happy with this purchase. I have it on my nightstand to act as an "alarm clock" but also all the other fun Alexa features. I have two Echo Spots and a regular Echo in my house and this device ties in great. I chose the Alexa system over Google assistant because I wanted a screen on the device by my bed for a clock face.

My 10 year old loves this Echo Spot. It does everything our Echo’s do in the house including an intercom system to get the kids down for dinner. It is the perfect alarm clock because there is no fumbling with the buttons and makes it easy for him to stay on time in the mornings. Plus he uses the music everyday!
