The product itself is excellent. Delivery of the item was not. Ordered for Christmas and it came in the box you literally buy it off the shelf in. Even though it ruined my Christmas present for my mom, I wouldn’t have been upset had it not appeared as though it was thrown on the ground, stomped on and then taped back up. Had to open it that day to make sure it actually worked. It’s fine for now. My advice is to buy in store instead of online. It’s got amazing sound, vibrates our entire living room when we listen to music.

Crackling sound even at low volume at random times. I’m assuming it’s a bug issue because every time I unplug the device to restart it goes back to normal. Unfortunately for the short time I’ve had it it’s been frequently making the crackling sound ruining the experience

Brand response from Amazon Devices Customer Support
Posted .
Hello Chris! I am terribly sorry you are having this issue with your Echo Studio. I have had this same device myself for 4 years now and have had no trouble with the audio at all so I can personally attest that this is not the expected experience customers have with this. I recommend first, saying "Alexa, check for updates." to it. If there are any software updates pending, it will walk you through the download for it. This may solve your problem right then. If it does not, I would recommend contacting Amazon Customer Support at 888.280.4331 to troubleshoot further and to see what your options are. I do hope this helps improve your experience and that you have an awesome day!

Unless you are lonely or enjoy regular confilct, this product should be pulled from the marketplace. You will regret this purchase within 90 days. The software is JUNK. It never functions hassle free. Do not believe a single positive word written about any Amazon Alexa enabled products. You will spend at least 2 hours per day dealing with technical issues. AVOID THIS GARBAGE. Buy a decent sound bar. Thank me later.

Doesn’t connect to any of the Alexa firetv stuff well at all! I have two of them and the Alexa sub and they don’t even connect to the firetv and play the sound it’s a waste of $600 in sound equipment.

I think I have all the variations of Echo except the Echo Sub Woofer. The Studio sounds fantastic and has deep bass, enough that I probably will not spring for the sub woofer, unless for another room. Highs and midrange is crystal clear.
The Studio "calibrates" itself to the room and surrounds you with sound. The Studio also seems more sensitive in picking up Alexa commands. With the Studio and a 3rd gen Dot in the same room, the Studio picked up each command regardless of where I was in the room. The Dot did not.
The Studio is easy to move about the house but I keep it in my unfinished basement most of the time, where I do electronics work and the Studio still has a rich, clear sound with plenty of bass response.
Yes, I would recommend to a friend with no hesitation.

Great sound quality. Solid base, mid, and highs. Much heavier in weight than I expected and certainly well designed. Love it even more when linked with others to increase sound levels and quality. Highly recommended adding to your smart home ecosystem.

I love this. I replaced my Bose 500 with this. The Bose would constantly disconnect and I was getting aggravated so I replaced it with this. I can not tell the difference between the fantastic speakers on this and the Bose. I have an Echo Dot I've had for years and never had a problem so I got this. Loved it so much that I ordered another one. Easy to hook up, unlike the Bose. It is great. Very Loud or soft when needed.

I absolutely love this speaker so much ! Weather it be on sale or full price its 100% worth it ! I just recently got an Xboom X7 that just came out about 3 months ago , the speaker is almost 4 feet tall yet somehow in my opinion the bass on this kicks a lot harder ! While you may be able to turn portable speakers up louder than this speaker may go , the bass itself is WAY better than anything else i own ! Super clear and crisp , decided to try the free trial for the amazon music since it has dolby atmos and 3D audio . I LOVE IT !!! The sound is unlike something ive ever heard from other speakers i won . I listen to storm sounds at night and it sounds so realistic , theres levels to it not just flat generic rain sounds . Ive already convinced 2 of my family members to purchase one after i did ! 10/10 The only “con” i can think to mention is the fact the speaker is fabric on the outside and the speaker is open on the sides so if you live in a house that can get pretty dusty like i do sadly , this speaker picks up a fair amount of dust in a day or 2 .

This is a very nice size speaker that pushes a lot of sound. It has good bass and really fills a large room. I use mine outdoors on my deck and its plenty loud even outside. I love that I can pair this with other Alexa speakers around the house to create mood music for parties.

I absolutely loved the Amazon Echo Studio! The spatial audio is amazing—it sounds like the music just bounces off the walls. The sound quality is fantastic, and the bass is incredible. This speaker truly elevates the listening experience.

Best Alexa! Better than a HomePod too, in my opinion.
The bass on this speaker is amazing!
The other day I thought it was a car pumping music until I walked out of the bathroom and my kids were playing coming in hot!

I purchased this speaker to broadcast Spotify, Vinyl Records (with the addition of an Echo Link), and to use as a general Alexa device. Firstly, the audio quality is excellent. To my ears, it compares with very high-end speakers, but has the added functionality of being WiFi enabled.
Personally, I found the speaker far too loud for my space though. Even at low volumes, I felt it was overpowering. I eventually replaced it with several full sized Echo speakers to get a more balanced sound level throughout my house.

This speaker is great. I got it on sale for $155 and it is well worth the price Even at its full price. This thing could be $400 and I wold still buy it. My friend had the black one, and I liked it so much I was about to buy one until I saw amazon was making a new one update one and wow is this amazing. My $450 speaker is twice the size of the studio and the sound on the studio way better. The base will shake my room even at 10% volume. This is a must buy for sound.

I need a speaker for our new home gym. I didn’t want to go through the trouble of installing speakers in the ceiling and we use Alexa all throughout the house. This was an easy thing to try so I did. I was surprised at how loud it actually was. It’s not super Bass heavy but I didn’t expect it to be given its size. We also have a TV in there that we will Bluetooth to the speaker to watch movies while working out. All in all, I’m rather impressed.

I bought this to listen to Amazon music. I decided to go with Echo instead of Google smart assistants long ago so I have many Echo devices. The sound from this thing did not disappoint. It's fabulous premium sound. If your looking for a streaming music device that has amazing sound, this is it. It's a large device so make sure you got room for it as it requires some open space to work optimally.

Amazing sound quality and ability to adjust treble, bass and other audio settings.
I have 40% hearing loss in my right ear with significant loss in higher tones.
Very happy I invested a few more dollars in the Echo Studio compared to the smaller globe type speakers.

This was around $200 and provides an excellent sound quality. I taught it to stream sirius XM channels and enjoy the 80's alternative rock on first wave with it. I do not have to have my PC tuned in and can do other things while listening. I did ask her "Alexa who would win in dance off between you and Siri?" She had no answer I will have to teach her snark!
