Wow. Big sound! Worth every penny. Deep bass! Plus Alexa! I would say one per floor should do it

I have multiple Amazon studios and I love the convenience they provide but there are things that could use some improvement. There are times it won’t acknowledge my commands or respond at all. It also randomly disconnects and I’ll have to pair it again through my phone. The audio is loud but the range is not as good as I expected. Especially compared to how good my HK onyx studio sounds. So if you want really good audio over convenience I’d stick to a regular speaker or consider room to have the sub woofer attachment as well.

The sound of this thing is phenomenal and the smart capabilities almost become an afterthought becuause the sound stands out so well! The sound may not match the clarity of a sonos or bose but sound is also highly subjective and it has been a great purchas to me! Would highly recommend to anyone!

This was the perfect upgrade from the standard Echo. The sound quality is excellent, but I am considering adding the sub to round out the bottom. Would absolutely recommend for anyone who wants a beautiful high-quality speaker in a small footprint.

Let me start by saying that when I purchased the Studio, it came with an Echo Show 5, and Phillips Light Bulb, for free (as Charlie Sheen would say, "Winning"). As with most Alexa products, set up is simple and intuitive. It really is just a large plump Echo, but upgraded. The voice recognition, is tremendous. It sounds amazing, and it is sleek in design. What I don't like, is I feel that it could be louder. It is loud.. it was difficult for my son and I to converse, while it was set at 8. It's loud enough honestly, but you know....Americans. I also suppose that the device, while a speaker, is also an Echo, so it needs to be able to monitor its wake word (privacy issues aside). Regardless, it sounds boss in my living room. but in my living room it's still loud. I get that there are alternative speakers, with Alexa integration, on the market that are louder, but I've drank the Echo Kool-aid and am invested. The other thing I don't like, which is vexing, is the inability to use this as a Surround Sound/Home Theater option. ***evidently you can use it in this mode, but only if you are using a more current generation Fire Stick*** I tried to pair it with my Samsung 8 Series, but no dice. Im not an expert, so if someone knows, bring it. Let me close by saying this, I hated this product so much that now I have Two Studios, Two Echo Show 5s, and Two Phillips Light Bulbs. And yes, the two Studios paired together, is sexy. As "The Dude" would say, "It really ties the room together man."

I like the way the unit works, its sound, its ease of use!

My initial impression of this speaker was that it was within striking range of premium speakers for a fraction of the cost. It’s ability to easily provide smart functions and connect to a compatible tv made it very desirable to me. Prior to purchasing I did visit the store to hear this product and I was shocked by just how powerful it was—as someone who drives around with a 12 speaker Bose system I have come to appreciate audio quality. After more research I decided to purchase two of these speakers that could then be made into a home theater system by including an Echo Subwoofer. Setup was a little tricky at first due to user error. I had to reconfigure my Asus router so that my network wasn’t so encrypted. Currently both speakers are placed on my nightstands pointing towards my King bed with the Fire TV being placed infront of the bed and the subwoofer will be similarly placed with the TV. I chose to purchase this product through BestBuy rather than Amazon due to the extended warranty and cheaper cost of said warranty. I have not used these speakers long but I would recommend them to others!

Better sound than HomePod. I have both. I use the Echo Studio outside on my covered back porch, and I can confirm the bass on the Studio gets considerably lower, louder, and deeper than the HomePod. HomePods Apple integration is better, but if you’re only in this for sound, keep the Studio at the top of your list. But, keep in mind the Studio does not have AirPlay- only your voice and Bluetooth with the studio.
