This is my second Echo sub in the house. Works without issue and the second 1 was easier to set up with the improved software updates. Works great with my Echo speakers and has an excellent sound quality.

Adding this sub really woke up our music with our 2 Echo 4's, which we have configured for stereo. Most little speakers can only add so much bass. Having a dedicated sub makes all the difference!

It has a decent sound. I paired to my dot but it wasn't much help. The dot has an awful sound quality and there was a pretty long lag of sound before the two kicked in. Strange. I hooked my Echo 1 back up, still has a great sound and volume and sounds great!

This device is amazing. Connects easy with booming bass for its size!

In trying to reduce my living room audio footprint I decided to ditch a full size receiver, some high end bookshelf speakers and an cheaper subwoofer. I didn’t expect having two echos and this sub would be a comparable replacement audio-wise but I was willing to make the trade off between sound quality for visual appearance and convienice. The subwoofer is a good add as even with the two echos connected in stereo mode, there is just not enough low end to make the music feel like it actually fills the room. Adding the sub does help fill the room and turns the echo system into an adequite stereo solution for a living room. The sub itself is sub-par in that it doesnt get very low as it seems to play some mid-range; you can actually hear voices coming from the sub I which you should not hear at sub level frequencies. Not sure why it doesn’t filter out higher frequencies but I’d believe this is part of the reason it doesn’t get as low as I’d expect it to be able to. Overall satisfied with it but rated at 3 stars as compared against my previous sub I paid about $100 for (8” 200 watt) it doesn’t even come close to it sound wise. Given you can get better base from a entry level sub for substantially less that is a let down. I did only pay about $130 for the echo sub though with the two echo and sub bundle around Christmas ($250 total for two echos and the sub) so in my mind it is at least still in the ballpark of an entry level sub which helps make up for the less than steller performance.

Had to purchase after receiving echo studio as Christmas gift for my home office. Together they are a match made in heaven. Nice bass to compliment the studio speaker.

Amazing addition to the Amazon Echo Family. I have two Echo Studios connected to my fire cube 4K. And now that I’ve added this guy my system has completely come to life. It rocks the room for its size. Well done

I added this to our big Echo Show and added a nice bass to the room. Small enough to conceal away and sounds great!

Excellent companion for the Alexa speaker making excellent sound.

I have 2 echo studios and the sub set up with my fire TV, i feel as though it adds little to the movie/tv watching experience. Musically it adds a nice low end, but it is hardly worth the frustration of the weekly disconnect it seems to have.

Good sound. Thought it would sound loader but in combination with echo studio sounds great.

Works well but does require a good solid internet signal. Every time internet cuts off unit restarts

Super speaker! I joined them with matching echos. Great sweet music! This echo sub has given just the right amount of punch at the bottom.

Great bass and siund this reslly makes a diffrence in sound with the bass add on.

I have had the eco plus since Christmas and was waiting to get the sub. Needless to say, I was impressed with the improved bass.

I bought the whole package - the 2 Echo Plus units and the sub. I think it would sound great in a small apartment, but not in a decent-sized living room. Once you got past 1/2 way on the volume, it was too much for the sub. I think if the price was closer to $299 for the kit, it would be a fair price. But at $455, I took it back. It just wasn't worth the money for me in the end.
