Wag glad I purchased the Amazon Echo. Easy to set up and link with the two iPads in our home. Use it to play music from ITunes as well as the IPad. Let's me do a quick check on the weather and a joke of the day. Impressed at how sensitive it is as I can speak with it from anywhere in my condo every with background noise. Heartily recommend it to my friends and family.

I love the amazon echo! You just talk to it and ask it questions. It plays any song you would like to hear, checks the weather, creates to do lists, orders things off amazon, checks traffic, looks anything up off the internet. I love it! We have 3 in the house now!

In the two weeks that we've had the echo we have put it to a number of uses and have hooked it up two are Samsung SmartThings home automation system. It takes some tuning And learning to understand what works, but it does work reasonably well interpreting what you are saying as long as the environment is not too noisy. It's very convenient to be able to put on music

Love the Amazon Echo. We use it for home automation and play music. Now alexa will control the Playstation Vue for watching TV. FF/RWD/Pause/Play . Replaced all the downstairs light switched to Z-wave. Next up is to connect Z-wave to a gas fireplace.

If you are a real techie and have a high tech home you would probably find this useful. It offers many features that I don't have and probably will not have any time soon. For everyday use I don't find it necessary as my Samsung phone plays music and has the best search engine out there. That being said, I did return the Echo and exchange it for the Google Home just for the "fun" of it. I use it mostly for a weather report and sometimes music. I thought the Home would pair best with my Google and Android stuff. We will see how that works out.

Love it, easy to use. Automates the house, I ise it to set alarms as reminders.

This is our second echo and we continue to enjoy the music, news, weather now on all our floors. It was easy to sync with the other echo and we enjoy the music throughout the house. It is a must. Amazon is updating the echo monthly with new capabilities.

The Good: Great for music playing, and lighting control if you've bought Hue lights, or smart switches. I have the WeMo switches and they work pretty well Great for some control of Amazon's Fire stick TV. OK at answering general questions, but not amazing. Alexa is often stumped... Still... its's pretty cool to speak, and have your house react around you...

This thing is awesome. Connected my Spotify and can tell Alexa to play anything I want. I mainly use it for music. I use the timer feature all the time when I'm cooking, and listen some news and weather most mornings. It's worth every penny. Great product.

Works great would be better if you didn't have to buy all the extra add on to make it worth the money

Enjoy listening to music, playing games, getting weather, and hearing news updates while I am working in the kitchen. Great speaker. I only wish we could change her name... I have added the tap and echo to our home as well. Also purchased one as a gift for my son.

I was hesitant to buy this because I was not sure how I was going to use it. I now use it everyday! I listen to music, ask questions, check the weather, sports scores and more. It is the greatest think ever! I am just sorry I waited so long to get one.
