Purchased the Echo for my wife for Christmas. She loves to use it throughout the day asking questions, playing music and adding items to her shopping list. It is very useful and also easy to set up and use.

I love the echo and adding the 2nd to our house has made it possible to synchronize our family. We use it to manage our shopping list and schedule everything. The echo also sounds great in the larger rooms.

Pretty cool piece of technology- very smart and fairly easy to use. Definitely recommend as a gift. I haven't fully learned the capabilities yet, but try new things each day. Works really well and she understands everything. Sometimes she talks when you don't say her name, so that can be weird.

The Alexa device is awesome. The sound quality from the Bluetooth speaker is the best for the price point. Perfect audio quality streaming from phone or from the connect apps. Setup is not that bad!

I bought the Amazon Echo when it first came out, and I loved it so much that I purchased one for another room in my house. Easy set up, great sound quality, and Alexa is very knowledgeable and informative.

It's fun for the family to use Echo. Alexa has been of help to answer questions that the kids ask, many times related to their homework. Also, works great with 3rd party products, like Nest's. Will keep getting better and better over time, as more content/ data and integration becomes available for Alexa.

I bought this one because it was on sale, and now I have 2 full size and a dot for every room in my house. I love the versitility of Alexa. If you don't know how these work, or don't want to learn, dont bother getting them, just get a sonos or the apple speaker when it comes out if you have apple products

I purchased one few months ago and this is my second one to put in another room, just ask the questions and get the answers , play music , or control other home connected devices . Very amazing.

The Echo is easy to use but some features require a lot of work. It is easy to set up for playing music. The other features(skills) require some study to get the most out of the product. After a few months I am still learning something everyday about the Echo. Long learning curve but a fun product.

The Echo is definitely a must. It has great sound quality, very easy to use and is a lot of fun to have at parties. It is compact and very structurally sturdy. I recommend the Echo to everyone.

My home has a lot of wifi product for example light switch and lifx bulbs and nest thermostat. Amazon echo was the last the to make it work all together. Alexa makes it easier and fun to connect your home

So I was torn between the google home and the echo. Went with the echo for the home automation and it's been better than I expected. It's smart, listen/understands really well. Its a very fun device.

I thought this would have a better sound than the Google Home Assistant based on price ($50 more when not on sale) and description of speaker. Ran the two side by side and I thought the Google Home had a better sound. Neither one is a main speaker in my room but sometimes it is easier to just ask them to play a station on Pandora or Radio than going to the main sound system. As for what Alexa can and can't do...that is tough to say since we don't have any smart devices in the house at that moment. It works well for quick weather, news and traffic reports but not so good for a free-form question. Google was more intuitive and better at understanding the question. With Alexa, if you have not downloaded the "skill" then there is a chance that she won't understand. Still, she is very good at keeping track of shopping lists and at some point I will add smart lights, thermostats, garage door opener, etc. to the house so hopefully the convenience will make things better.

The Amazon Echo has become a critical appliance in our kitchen. Admittedly we bought the Echo to serve as yet another cool toy to have around...but we're finding that it's a great addition to our lives. The top used function for our family is probably the simple to use timer function, but a close second is the ability to call on any artist we want to hear with Amazon Prime Music. It's well worth a few bucks a month to get the music service and the sound quality of the device (although not audiophile worthy) is quite good. Our family is still exploring the many great tools available with Alexa...but I can say without reservation that it's a great device to have for any household.

After owning the Echo Dot, we wanted to get one that had a built in speaker. The Echo's ability to integrate with most of the home automation devices on the market make this a hands down winner. Even if you don't use it for turning on and off lights, it's a great source for entertainment and music.

This is a pretty fun toy use it mainly for music but will add more of the connected devices soon

This has been a lot of fun to own. I've not explored every function but everything I've used works great. Only complaint, seeing music at full volume pretty much nixes Alexa's ability to hear the next command and the speakers are so capable, the next command is often to turn the volume down.

The Amazon Echo is great for our family as it allows us to all have prime music playlists and with a simple voice command we can all play our favorite music. Setting up our smart home items was a breeze and telling alexa to set the thermostat temperature and to turn on and off lights is awesome.

ALEXA IS GOOD FOR REMINDERS, USE AS AN ALARM CLOCK, PLAY MUSIC NICE SPEAKER SYSTEM ALSO WORKS WITH WEMO AND OTHER SYSTEMS THAT CONTROL YOUR ELECTRONICS IN THE HOUSE INCLUDING HEATING AND COOLING.

We listen to a lot of music no and even have fun with games and other skills Alexa can learn.
