I enjoy the assisting feature on this device(alarms, commute times, and instant news), music play back is great via bluetooth, but to get the full use of devices more devices may be required

I think that it is easy to use and has a really nice sound

I like the fact that Amazon keeps evolving the device, making it able to do new things. It is great for playing music at home because the sound quality for such a small device is excellent. The shopping list feature is also nice because anyone with the Alexa app and your Amazon account can check to see whats on the list.

The echo works well, has good sound and is an interesting concept. Where it falls short is in the quality of the search results. It often responds that it doesn't understand the question or does not have information about what is asked. I have returned and will purchase the Google home system when it is released.

Does a lot of different things , haven't delve into all as yet , Doing music and a few questions so far . But love it

Have several Dots. Those that I want to play music over I have hooked into an external speaker. Rather that spend close to $200 on a sonos speaker plus the cost of the dot, I choose the echo as the best solution for the bathroom. Got the white color. Fits great on chair rail. White cord is easy to hide. One unforeseen issue is that it does go load enough that I have to wait for a break in the music before I can ask alexa to skip or turn down volume.

Thought it would be fun to have one after reading the reviews. My alarm clock went south and I was shopping for a new one. Echo is a GR8 alarm clock GR8 timer + all the other amazing things it can do. It's just fun!! I have 2 Echos and 1 Echo Dot when I say play everywhere the whole house is full of music of my choice!

I had my doubts about the utility of the echo but with amazons continuous updating of its skills, I've come to rely on it for a lot of things, even mundane tasks like my morning alarm clock. I just tell Alexa when to wake me up. Can't wait to purchase some more smart home appliances to integrate other stuff around the house.

I'm deepy invested in the Apple ecosystem so I approached using the Echo as a just something to experiment with. Now I understand Barry Diller's statement that eventually Jeff Bezos will be the richest man in the world. And for me it starts with the Echo. I use it from the (funny) morning alarm to bedtime when it manages my night time Hue light scenes. I prefer to listen to music through the Echo and not tie up my other devices. I've ordered several Dots and am looking forward to being able to use a more serious speaker for music. Now that I've been sucked into the Amazon universe I've abandoned my Apple TV and replaced it with the Fire TV becuase of the Alexa voice control. The kids use Alexa for homework and even my "beyond cool" teenage son admits it's a worthwhile technology. I have a lot of fun with the IFTTT recipes; its become a bit of a hobby. And rather than having a technology where you blink your eyes and it's out of date, the best thing so far about the Echo is it just keeps getting better with more product integrations, "skills", and ever expanding content. I recommend getting one soon so you can enjoy the new stuff as it comes along.

I love my Alexa! It was easy to set up and begin using. The kids love her , too? They like playing word games with her. I use it for music and for the different lists I have. She reminds me and sets alarms for me. I highly recommend Alexa. I just wish the accessories like the light bulbs and others were not so expensive.

Easy to setup, fun to use. Use it daily for music.

i'm still getting used to how to ask it to do things. it would be great if it could learn things as i ask or tell it things to remember about myself. overall a fun toy; but not necessary

Ok, my wife wanted this thing... I thought it was just another fad, Siri without the Apple... I was very wrong. The sound is amazing, streaming music as an amazing prime member is easy and the song selection spectacular. There are so many things it can do, and i have read home security will be linked in soon... worth the price.

This is a great smart device for listening to music, news or just finding fun facts. There's so much that Alexa does to make life easier. It takes some time to get all of your presences set up but it's worth the effort. We are so impressed with what Alexa can do that we decided to get some of the security tools to pair with it.

The Amazon Echo is a great tool and has a ton of cool features. Amazon is constantly adding features and tips/tricks to use with "Alexa". I like having my Prime Music playlist going. It's very handy when I'm backing and need to ask a question and my hands are dirty to use my phone to google. What I don't like is that it has to be plugged in the entire time. You will need to purchase a remote to use it in another room. Hopefully they'll fix this with a newer model.

I have not had a chance for fully appreciate this piece of technology but I’m looking forward to having fun with it.

While I find myself limited at the moment to playing music and adding to my grocery list, I look forward to expanding my connected home. For what I use it for, it is fantastic. It even works great with answering questions the kids have and responding quickly to needs. It understands fairly well and it hears me throughout the house.

wanted to purchase this for awhile, it came up as a deal of the day for an incredible price, sold, got it that day!!

My Alexa is the smartest! She knows a lot about everything! It's amazing how quickly she can answer a question, whether it's about math, history, a person, or event, etc. Even my husband is impressed! Played with my brothers Alexa for a couple weeks and ordered one for me. She was greeting me when I returned home. Love her!
