Smaller screen yet versatile

I do a lot of reading and, because the text size and font is adjustable, Fire Tablet 7 does a good job as a reader tablet. It is fast and Amazon has done a good job of designing the interface so that it is easy to learn. Wifi speeds are fast. Good tablet for the price!!

Doesn't allow enough room to download much of anything, Purchased for my grandson. Wish I had purchased iPad minis or something similar. Setting up parental control in the settings is confusing. My grandson was able to purchase multiple games AFTER I set it up to alert me was really aggravating. Finely had to block all purchases - even those that were for free.

Good, not great tablet.

Fire tablets are fine but are not premium devices so I can't comment on this particular device. I have used fire tablets in the past and can make these general comments. Fire tablets are fine for most people, but they tend to be slower than premium Android tablets like Galaxy Tab series and are limited by Fire OS and lack of Google Play Store.
