It’s a good size. Not a speed racer. But not slow. Great for kids and if you just want to surf the net. Use mine for recipes.

I was a little hesitant to get this at first since I really didn't need a tablet device for any particular reason, but I am glad I did. It is basically like having a small and light laptop in your hands. As a result, I can conformably read e-books, watch movies, and do a bit of work from the comfort of my bed.

I love the color and it's the perfect size for my little hands. Love that it's lightweight. And for browsing it is perfect.

Compact, yet right size screen. The price is far better than many other tablets and still has about as much functionality.

While these latest models are only slightly better than the preceding generation, I believe that they still represent the absolute best value tablet on the market. It’s still hard for me to adjust to the fact that a tablet device can now be purchased for just fifty bucks, and it’s such a good all-around performer (for the most part)! I purchased both the 7" and 8" Fire models because I wanted to see how they compared, and I was curious how they performed. They are both shown in the video attached to this review. I will focus here on the 7" model, to try to help the potential buyer decide whether or not the more expensive 8" Fire tablet is worth the extra money (and if the 7" model is worth purchasing on its own merits). I've given this 7" model a 4-star rating after further consideration and largely because of the very mediocre quality sound output. It is still a terrific bargain at the price, but I do want to be clear that it is not ideal for all uses.

This tablet is perfect for reading, and for the price you won’t get much better. That being said, don’t expect this tablet to be as fast as an iPad or smartphones, it has a bit of a lag while opening apps and surfing the web. The picture quality makes the camera basically worthless. I bought this to read books at night, and for that purpose it’s great. 4 Stars bc I cant be too picky with what I paid, and it does the job I need it to do- I just wish it was faster and offered a bit more.

I ordered this for my 1yr old grandson since he loves to play with my iPad so much. He loves this tablet it’s just right for him he know exactly what apps to start when he wants to play his nursery games an song without help it so easy for him to work it. What I didn’t like about it is that it was listed as 29.99 in there sales add but I was charged 39.99 for each an I bought 2 of them so I was not happy about that other then that I’m happy with them

I really did not need another tablet but at the sale price and a rewards coupon, I could not resist. I use it as an e reader and leave it in my car always as an emergency tablet in case I stop into a coffee shop with Wi-Fi . It is a little sluggish but what do you expect for the money paid? i did install a GLASS screen protector and that has actually helped touch screen action and feel over the tablet without it. If you are already in the Amazon Prime sphere...why not?

I have been pleasantly surprised with how much I like this kindle. I had an older kindle and didn't really think I needed all the features on this tablet. My son convinced me that I would like it and taking advantage of a great sale price I purchased it. Well he was right- I like it a lot! The graphics are crisp and clear, it is easy to use and has a good battery life. I had an old kindle that just listed the book titles. I found myself missing being able enjoy a book cover and reading about the author. I had actually gone back to reading a traditional book. But with the Fire the books are all listed by book covers, so I can enjoy all of those again. That is probably insignificant for many but it makes a big difference for me. The only reason I gave it a 4 star is I wish the screen was just a little bigger.

Practical table, slow, but enough to do essential things, replace a kindle reader to read by a cheapest price $29

I like the small size of the table, I find some books too heavy to hold, so this is nice & lightweight, & easy to hold. It is also very easy to read on, clear screen.

This is a very nice tablet for the price. The camera is not the best but for the price it is reasonable.
