I saw this Kindle for less than $30.00 on Black Friday and couldn't resist. My 5 year old granddaughter loves watching cartoon YouTube videos on my phone while riding in the car. I bought this for her so I don't have to worry about her dropping my phone or anything else that can happen (like accidentally making a call, etc). She loves having her own device and it couldn't be beat at $29.99!

I bought this Tablet for myself. I thought it would be easier to use and read for on-line shopping and reading emails, etc., than on my cell phone. I'm not disappointed! Even though I'm still trying to get used to it, I definitely like it....and it IS serving me for the purposes I wanted. I liked it so much, I purchased 2 more as Christmas gifts for my college age nieces!!

I bought this for my daughter to upgrade from a much older version of the Fire that had filled up with games. With the newer version of the software, a bit larger storage space, and slightly more compact, this has worked out great for her. Still, its a fairly low-end device and there are not a small amount of games that won't run properly. She'll live.

At the time of need to have for my daughter convenient use of learning I was able to get during the Black Friday Sale and it became useful in many ways for reading and using ABC'S Mouse Academy. I just recommend on getting a case immediately to make it child proof ready.

The tablet only has one app we installed and rums a little slow. Battery is pretty good. The cover is great for my toddler son who uses the tablet to watch cartoons. Would recommend anyone who is interested to get the fire tablet with more storage. Overall a pretty good deal for price.

Anyone difficult to buy a gift for ....especially those who are wary of electronics. Mine refuses to use a smart phone. However loves to read, and wanted something he could use to make purchases and have on hand for quick reference. Since this is Kindle, he loved it! Not complicated so if your looking for a fancy piece of tech—this isn’t it. However for the above purposes is perfect!

Got this to read in bed and it is great. Perfect size and great battery life.

Bought for my niece. Great tablet for kids! If it gets broke, its only $50. Few issues with the amazon tablets is the lock screen ads and lack of google and youtube apps. Both of these issues can be solved if you know where to look on youtube. Google play store can be side loaded so that you can install android apps including youtube.

I actually loved the amazon fire because you have the ability to make specific restrictions, such as creating a profile for your child and creating a password so the child does not have the ability to use any other portion of the computer (i.e. internet, camera, downloading, etc)

I got 2 for gift and the kids where really happy its easy to use, great size.

It came exactly as described and it was worth the money

Purchased to play games, but keep finding additional benefits. Easier to see than phone, but not as inconvenient as laptop, access to books, TV shows, email and search. Camera is better than most phones and you can see the pics without squinting, Only suggestion would be to consider a Fire 10 if you want even larger screen. In my case, this works well for my needs.
