Lots of options, easy to use, battery life is great

Good size. Cool features great price. Just what I needed

I bought this for my Grandmother to set up and control her Alexa and other smart home items. It was ready to go right from the box. It was even mostly charged. I already had an old 8" and was worried it might be too small, but it's a good size to easily see what she is doing on it. Delivery was really fast.

Good tablet for children. Does what it needs to - youtube, simple apps, etc.. ads are annoying on the lockscreen, as i accidentally click them sometimes... im not sure if this is a feature that you can turn off. Battery is okay, lasts maybe 7 hours ish, which isn't horrible. For the price, its a pretty decent tablet.

The tablet was extremely easy to set up for a restaurant owner wanting to use it to take food delivery orders. The only thing it didn't have was the Google Play Store, but that was extremely easy to add. Great value for the money.

Its ok. You get what you paid for. I bought 3 one for each kid. On one the media volume turns off on it's own sometimes, and when you try to turn it up it wouldn't. The other two freeze from time to time. But its does its job for a cheap price.

Get these for raffle items for enrollments and meetings. Good little tablet, everyone that has gotten one said they are great. Gave one to my mom and she is not techy at all and she loves the ability to read books, Facebook, email and keep up with us when we are out and about!

Was a gift for my Sister-in-law. She loves it because she can do everything she needs to do for school and be entertained on it. I personally am an Apple guy, but based off of her opinion of the item and my love for the FireSticks, it will receive a good review.

I bought this after returning a Kindle White Paper (returned cuz it’s just for reading books, isn’t color, and is a lot more expensive: $129 vs. $49). This Amazon Fire has fast internet speed, lots of apps, color, plays audio books, has headphone jack, and is a convenient size. I bought a cover for it too.

I purchased two for an upcoming family trip ... one for me and one for my daughter. I was impressed with the parental control settings ... you can limit the time your child spends on the tablet, ability to restrict of specific internet sites, and parent passwords are required for any app installations! Great tablet for mom and daughter!

Love the kindle for ereading. perfect size easy to use.

For an inexpensive tablet, this is a decent product. This is the 3rd Amazon tablet that I have purchased and it performs fairly well. However, the charging port is VERY fragile. With my 2 previous purchases, the charging port does not connect with the provided cable after a year or two of use. It connects, but it does not charge. It seems as if one or two of the contact points (if not more) do not connect with the cable. In addition, I have found that Amazon provides automatic updates for services that I do not want or subscribe to. This greatly reduces the available memory. Of course you can install apps to an external memory card, but the auto updates drastically take away from the installed memory. It would be nice if a user could delete applications that are factory installed, but not needed or wanted. Other than these 2 things, it is a decent tablet.

Love taking this tablet on trips with my kids. Keeps them focused for hours. We have apps and movies saved to it, so when there is no WiFi, they can continue to use it. The only trouble we've had is that it does run slower if we save movies and games to it. Easy solve is to only allow a few movies and games at one time.

Small and light weight tablet. I enjoy using it.......

Amazon has developed a fantastic bit of electronic and technological ingenuity with their tablets, that can both educate and entertain a child for countless hours. This is fantastic when you have an active child, like mine, that's constantly needing to go to something. The price when I purchased this was on point! I appreciate it's many different apps (even those that are worthless without more subscriptions)... more on that later. No, that's not even the issue. There's many activities that can be done without paying so much more. However, I was hoping, like many parents do, to "try to"/be able to easily place limits on use, as I do... Not to which can be easily shut off, overridden, or simply ignored. Or will shut off features unintended, so that the tablet effectively becomes more efficient than a poptart. So though the tech is getting there, it's still not that close to perfect. There could be an ease of use and also a better guard for younger users, as this is the draw.
