This is s great tablet for kids! Tons of age appropriate games to keep them entertained. I love the big screen, the speakers in the front of the tablet. The case is the best part because it protects it so much, even when my child throws it down. My favorite thing is the stand.

Amazon definitely nailed it with this Kindle Kids! The cover adds much needed protection from falls and drops. The battery lasts a looooooong time, the easy interactive menu allows for quick installs and content access to many platforms and streaming services. The little one can't get enough of her Kindle, no kiddin'!

Kid's love this table! It has never ending games, books and projects with the year long Unlimited, and after the year is up, parents can continue Unlimited for only $5.95 a month! If that is not enough, there is a TWO year warranty on parts & labor! Oh, and you can log into school site for homework. This tablet also has a camera - what more could any parent want? As soon as the 8" one goes back on sale for $50 off, I will be buying another one for another great grand child. M. J. M. p.s. Traveling is easier when our 2 year old is distracted.

I prefer Apple's ipad. Heck, I think even Samsung's options are better. Amazon Fire? Eh... I would never get this for MYSELF, but for your toddler or five-year-old, it's a great first tablet that gives them a sense of ownership & responsibility. If they see their bigger sibling with a fancy schmancy tablet, they'll feel right as rain once you get them this simple, but effective, kids tablet. The apps & videos available on it may not be as cool as Apple's or Android's outings, but you don't have to worry about it; they're just THERE. So, I gotta tell you, don't get this if you NEED youtube kids or certain apps, it's a little hard to manage. But if you just need to shut the kid up for 30 minutes, throw them this, keep it charged, manage it well, delete the apps you don't like, and crack open a beer or wine bottle to unwind while they distract themselves for a little bit of time. It's PERFECT as long as you don't EXPECT TOO MUCH out of it.

Purchased as a gift for my granddaughter, she loved it but we ended up upgrading to the larger tablet. Kids today are so much more advanced.

Been great for my youngest to learn sounds, colors, and have an interactive learning experience. He has a lot of fun navigating and playing with it, especially on long car rides. Durable with the bumper and warrantied for two years from Amazon so it’s nice to know it’s protected!

My grand daughter loves her Fire 8 Kids Tablet. It was easy to set up and comes with wonderful apps. J-Ro loves the videos and songs, and the battery is long-life, so the tablet works as a great baby-sitting aide. I highly recommend this, even for kids younger than the 3 years old listed on the box.
