Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased for my 4 year old daughter for Christmas, snagged it on Black Friday and did not have to pay the pricey price you would originally find this item for -(keep this in mind) she has been wanting her own tablet and this was a great deal and seemed to be the most durable, kid friendly, with enough space and storage to download all the games she wants with a cute design on the back in a nice deep purple color. My other children have destroyed their other Kindle/Amazon tablets by the massive amounts of games they install and uninstall by the day and this has rendered others slow and useless. No complaints so far upon reviewing it out of the box. I am glad I purchased this item and look forward to the smile on her face when she opens it. I would recommend it to other parents seeking a child friendly device they can handle.

Good value tablet for kids

Don't expect the same level of performance as a flagship tablet or phone, and you'll be pleasantly surprised by this device. The included 1 year of Amazon Kids is a great value. Lots of movies, curated apps, etc. available without having to fuss with microtransations or spending $$$ to keep the kids occupied on long roadtrips.

Great little device

The battery life is decent, being type C plug it pretty much works with anything these days, the set up is simple and amazon approval systen is very simple as well.
