It’s a nice little tablet. Seems to jump around a little but it’s efficient for house use so far. Not sure if it can handle a work load yet.

got for my Kindle books and games, I have not watch any movies or shows yet, but so far I like it

I bought one for my mom for Christmas and immediately bought me one as well. I have had quite a few android tablets over the years but the kindle has the best battery life and smooth gameplay. As well as best resolution for reading the ebooks. I’ve dropped it and my dog has jumped on it and it’s without a scratch *knock on wood

This is a very reliable tablet. It is reasonably priced and, at 10 inches, is right in line with offerings from Samsung/ Apple/ Lenovo. Be aware, however, it operates using Amazon's Fire OS (operating system). Many purchase believing it to run Google's Android OS. Many apps are exclusive to a specific OS.

I am very pleased with how this device operates. I was initially shocked at the actual size of the device, but am now very pleased. It holds a charge much longer than any other device I have had. I had Amazon remove the ads as they were extremely annoying. Now I simply flip my cover open and can immediately begin using my tablet.

Purchased as a gift for my mother. It was easy to set up and is Faster... Lighter... BETTER! The picture quality and versatility are amazing. She loves it as an upgrade to her old Tablet.

Bought this for a person with vision issues. The kindle app and large screen are working great for our application. The app syncs seamlessly with my other kindle devices and amazon account. With this size screen, we can make the text huge and they are able to enjoy reading again. I find the app easier to use than the regular kindle for this person as well, as the regular kindle menus are not intuitive, but the tablet works more like a smartphone. We did pair it with a children's foam like case with handle (even though this is for an adult) so that we wouldn't have any issues with them holding/dropping and that seems to have worked out well as well.

New OS is better. The size is so much better than the 8 that I was replacing. That extra bit of screen improves the on-screen keyboard usability as well as making web browsing much easier. Picture is good. Overall feel is sturdy enough I don’t want a case. Battery lasts many hours. If all you want is to access internet and watch videos—plus a few basic apps—this is well priced and does the job. But it is not a tablet and you cannot access apps from either Google store or Windows store. So know what you are buying

I bought it for Netflix and reading books. It has a great screen and good sound through its speakers, GREAT sound with good headphones or bluetooth speaker. Many cases are available that fold into stands for hands free use. It is lighter than most hardcover books and MUCH lighter on vacation than packing four or five books. At moderate screen brightness, the battery lasts for several hours of use and recharges while you sleep. Best Buy is likely to have an attractive sale price around the holidays. A child's bundle is an option including a heavy duty case and a drop protection warranty.

easy setup light weight and durable quality go it on half price which is amazing

This was a gift for my sister. She loved it and it was easy for her care providers to set up. She can watch movies, communicate through Email with family & friends, search various website and most importantly to her, she can download books. She’s loves to read. The device is easy for her to handle, it’s a perfect size, and it’s not heavy. Very happy with all the amenities it has.

We have two of these tablets, they have a great battery life easy to navigate great screen color never had or have any issues would recommend highly to others.

I'm very happy with my purchase. My last Amazon Kindle was getting old and pretty worn out. This new Amazon Kindle has plenty of storage and loaded up real easy. Simple to use and came with all the apps that I need and so many choices to download. I recommend this tablet.

Amazon is close to making the perfect budget tablet. First of all, the 10" might be a bit large for some but you may feel that it's a noteworthy upgrade. Everything seems to run smoother and faster. And it's brighter, sharper, and louder The higher resolution is immediately noticeable.

The best Kindle I have had thus far. It is great for everything I have needed it to be. Easy to navigate and never any issues. I have dropped it many times and still have not cracked or scratched it!

I love the speed and the quality of this divice. My granson enjoys playing games, reading books, He is homeschooling and it has been great for his school work and play. The price was awsome and is worth the money.

I bought this product for my 93 yo grandpa. He uses it for an app to rent books through the library. It works great for him and is easy to use. The lock screen ads can be annoying sometimes but they have a more expensive version with out ads.

Bought this for my mom and she loves it. The screen is a perfect size for her to read her kindle books and play her games. She has not had any problems with the battery or with charging, but she has mentioned that the charging block part gets warm when it's plugged in.
