The larger size screen allows for easier reading and other applications like games, etc. There is a learning curve as the functions differ from previous kindle devices much as different versions of Windows do. My concern is that there are so many applications always running, that the processor struggles. There are slow-downs and screen lock-ups that are very annoying and inconvenient, even if they don't prevent acceptable usage.

Got this as a birthday gift for spouse; he loves the picture quality, speed, and ease of us. Picked it up on sale so even better!

I purchased this for my mom for Christmas. It has many issues in my opinion. She is unable to download any apps, like she can on her Android phone, and we were assured that this tablet functioned on the Android premise. She calls me constantly because it freezes, apps won't open properly, etc...

I love the size of this product. It makes it easier to watch videos. Setting it up was really easy. I had a smaller version and when I turned this one on and logged in everything I had from the other one was already here.

I have love the kindle since the first one. I really enjoy this one it's easy to use and both my kids are able to use as well. I love the picture quality and that the videos and movies are very clear to watch

I upgraded from a first generation Kindle Fire and could not be happier -- I choose the 10 and am very happy with my purchase. The screen quality is great and love everything about the Kindle Fire HD 10.

I've used Kindle fire for a while (6 inch screen). Upgraded to the 10 inch. I mainly use the kindle for games. Resolution is great, color good, and enjoy the larger picture. What is not so good.....the battery life does NOT compare to my first Kindle. VERY disappointed in the battery life. Also, if left in hibernation over night, the next day the battery is at 10%. One would think Amazon Kindle could improve the battery life since everything else was improved.

this newer bigger Kindle is great. Very clear. Great for reading and playing online games.

Bought this as an upgrade for my wife. She went from the 8" to the 10". The screen is so nice and large. The HD is so in depth. I highly recommend this product to anyone who uses a tablet and/or reads.

The larger slimmer screen is just what I was looking for! easy screen scrolling large readable apps, and faster downloads. Great for fun or business.

This was a great replacement for my previous Kindle. The large screen and keyboard I purchased (see my review were a great match. Reading books is awesome with the new technology...a must buy!

I bought 4 of these for my children, and they love them. There is a kids mode to keep them from going crazy. They are fast and the apps don't lag. Overall I would say this is a great tablet.

My original Kindle stopped working, I went to Best Buy and a very knowledgeable and helpful sales person Patrick assisted me in purchasing the brand new Kindle Fire 10 and I love it!

The Fire tablet works great as an electronic reader or for casual, light computing use. Everything you can do with an iPad for a fraction of the price.
