I'm writing to enthusiastically recommend the Amazon Fire 10.1" tablet based on our family's overwhelmingly positive experience. Last year, I purchased this tablet as a birthday gift for my daughter, and it's exceeded all our expectations. It's become an integral part of her life, seamlessly blending entertainment, learning, and communication. She finds the interface incredibly intuitive and user-friendly, navigating the various apps with ease. The vibrant display is a significant plus, making both movies and educational apps a joy to use. The Alexa integration has also proven remarkably useful, allowing for quick access to information, setting reminders, and even listening to audiobooks. Beyond the ease of use, the tablet's performance has been consistently reliable; we've experienced no glitches or slowdowns even with extensive use. What truly sets the Fire 10.1" apart, however, is the value it offers. The combination of a high-quality display, smooth performance, and the intuitive Amazon ecosystem makes this tablet a smart and affordable choice for anyone, especially children and young adults. The breadth of available apps, coupled with parental control features, further enhances its appeal. We've had a fantastic year with this tablet and confidently recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable and enjoyable device.

I have wanted to get a tablet for a long time, and I'm glad I did. This one works great and so far it does everything I want it to do. The touch screen is responsive and it is easy to connect to my home WiFi. It is easy to charge with the provided wire and wall adapter, and so far the battery is holding a charge for quite a long time. I have been able to use the app store to download apps, I have read books using Kindle and Libby, and I have also used it for basic activities such as games and surfing the internet. The screen is clear and graphics and photos look great. In fact, I'm writing this review with it and using the vocal dictation feature now. I have not used it yet to take pictures. I definitely recommend getting a good Protective case and Screen protector For this tablet, because it is thin, sleek, and somewhat slippery. It might not be the fanciest one on the market, but I am very happy with it so far so far, especially for the price.

As a long-time iPad user, I’m impressed with the Fire tablet. Streaming is seamless, and browsing, while a bit different, works great. There’s not as vast an app selection as with Apple, but for me it’s a happy trade-off.

I love my tablet because I use it as a Kindle. It’s perfect for getting lost in my romance books. The price was better than an actual Kindle because I saved $75 with a discount. It’s lightweight and perfect for traveling. It’s not too big, and it’s lilac, which I love so much. The battery lasts all day, which is great. The books covers are colored if you prefer color covers. I highly recommend a Fire HD 10. I have no major issues with my tablet.

I have to say, this is the best fire tablet so far! Fantastic battery life, sound, and screen. The only thing that could be better is the Amazon AppStore but hopefully Amazon gets the hint with that soon. All and all it’s a great inexpensive tablet.

It's my 3rd Fire 10 tablet 64GB (11th, 12th, and now 13th generation) and I've had it for less than a week. My 11th is slow and my 12th's touchscreen seems to be failing, so I wanted a new one. I like that it is the lightest of the bunch (every gram counts). The most appreciated improvement is it loading speed (use it for entertainment) and it's screen seems a little brighter than my 12th. It survived a 3 ft. drop in the Amazon case. I don't think the battery lasts as long as the 12th (end of the day 54% versus 39% on the new one). The speakers are louder, but tinnier to my ear. And I'll have to get used to the new button placements (why keep moving these?) I don't use the cameras or stylus. However my biggest regret is that the Viki App (Amazon App store and Google Play store fails) will not work on it (still works on the other two Fires). Spent many hours trying to get it loaded. I was going to return the tablet, but I figured out I could use the missing app through a browser. It's kind of crazy that I have to jump through hoops to get it to do what I want.

The tablet I received was in great condition. Although it's main function is entertainment, the tablet can run games at more demanding settings with ease. The only problem you will have with the device is the restrictions on Google apps that the tablet comes with that can only be fixed by looking at only tutorials to get around them. Once you get around those restrictions, this tablet is truly a good buy for its lower price.

I love my Kendle Fire! I prefer to use the Amazon Kindle fire over an iPad. To me it is much easier and better.

Was a little worried it was too big for reading but love it. Able to prop it up at a distance while sitting in pool with no problem reading it as well as laying in bed.

It is an amazing item but it does not have a USB slot. And the adaptor does not work the way we need it

Stylus support is an immense enhancement. I already had the previous model of Fire 10 (as well as an older true Android tablet or three for apps not available for Amazon's mutant version of Android), but the addition of true stylus support maid this a must buy, and I have been very happy with it. There are enough of the apps I want available for it that it gets a lot of use, and side-loading gets me a few more. The stylii that work with this also work on my chromebook, which is nice. An all around good deal.

This is my first tablet that I bought new I’ve had a couple used ones and this one I absolutely love. I love to watch movies on it. The quality is definitely high definition and is so clear and vivid. I also like the fact that I could use it to look at my cameras through my house, as my house is Alexa smart

The Amazon Fire HD Tablet continues to be one of the best budget-friendly tablets on the market, and two features really make it shine: its impressive battery life and excellent screen. Battery life is genuinely outstanding — you can easily get 10-12 hours (or more) of mixed use on a single charge, whether you're streaming shows, browsing the web, playing light games, or reading for hours. This makes it perfect for long trips, lazy weekends, or all-day use without constantly hunting for a charger. The screen is another highlight. The vibrant HD display delivers sharp colors, good brightness, and crisp details that make everything from movies to comics look great. It's not OLED-level contrast, but for the price point, it's surprisingly excellent and easy on the eyes. What many people don't talk about enough is how well the Fire HD doubles as a capable e-reader. With its relatively portable size (especially the 8-inch or 10-inch models), it fits comfortably in one hand or slips easily into a bag — much more convenient than lugging around a larger tablet or laptop.

Good screen quality, seems durable. A good value if you have prime or use amazon services. Not a full android tablet however, so you can't use my Google PlayPass here. Otherwise a nice tablet for basic use.

For the price, really hard to beat this tablet. Nice screen, plenty quick, and easy to adapt to being a full-blown Android tablet, so what's not to like? Because it's plastic, it is very light and non-fatiguing to hold. Battery life is insanely good. Since I bought primarily for reading and browsing on the go, that's great.

This tablet has a large screen which is great for homeschooling apps for my kids. The sound quality is good. Battery lasts awhile depending on how much you use it. It's excellent with a hard case for durability.

I’m getting used to maneuvering between the different apps - Kindle, Silk, Amazon , etc., - but there’s really no major issue using them. The battery life is very good - better than my IPad Air 5th Generation. The ads are on the locked screen, so it’s not as bad as in previous Fires I’ve had, which would interrupt when using the apps. You’ll just have to get used to the power, volume and “back” buttons but once you realize where they are, it shouldn’t be a problem. Overall, a very good experience in the 2 months I’ve had it.
