Purchased this for my adopted sister and my children God Mother, who is a semi beginner in the technology arena. She just started with a smart phone and we thought taking her straight to a computer would be a huge leap and thus decided to take a smaller step by getting her this device. She is very pleased and excited with the tablet. She is learning a great deal! I did my research prior to purchasing this for her.

This is probably the best tablet i have ever owned. Easily convert to an Alexa/Amazin Portal device and great for watching movies on plane. Charge last a longtime, picture & sound very good, lots of storage.

This is my 3rd HD 10. (I have one in each of three rooms.) I love this lightweight, portable tablet. It's easy to use, and for someone in her mid sixties that is a great bonus. The graphics are great, and it has a LOT of storage.

This tablet is great for when I'm doing my homework. I like how the tablet screen is big because I use it for my textbooks. Battery life is great. The camara is not the best but it doesn't matter to me because I mainly got it for school.

This tablet is light weight and the price is reasonable. This is actually for my daughter but I enjoy using it as well. The size of the tablet is even great for looking at videos, movies or even searching different websites.

Bought this tablet because I was tired of spending 3-500 dollars on an iPads. I've had the tablet for 2 weeks and mainly use it for social media, movies and internet surfing. I will never go back to apple, this is one of the best tablets I've owned for $100 dollars. Good display quality, good sound output, quick processor, everything I'm looking for in a tablet!

I did my homework and really wanted a Samsung tablet. While the videos are a little more crisp and vivid on the Galaxy, they are also twice the money. The determining factor in going with the Fire Tab wasn't just the reasonable price of the tablet itself, but the cheaper accessories that are made specifically for the Fire Tablet. Not only are the samsung accessories more expensive, good luck finding a cover made for the model you're looking for. I do allot of flying and primarily use the Fire HD to watch movies on my flights or other trips. The volume is very good without ear buds and the picture is still very good. I get a little more than 10 ours of video time and have been happy with its ease of use.

After having this tablet for almost 2 years, I have to say that it has been an incredible value. We use this tablet mostly for streaming services and movie watching in the car on road trips, and it has performed flawlessly. We upgraded the unit by adding additional storage with a large microSD card, so it can handle several downloaded movies and shows without any issues. The screen is quite bright, which is great for watching in the car. And unlike it's fruit-labeled competitor tablet whose battery slowly drains even when plugged in, the Fire tablet keeps a full battery charge while using at full brightness and active streaming. Great tablet.

I purchased the Fire Tablet for a Christmas gift for my husband. I've had a Samsung tablet for several years. You think you can share a tablet for occasional use, but that's not the case. I enjoy the convenience of a tablet and felt we needed a second. Have home laptop, desktop pc, work laptop, samsung tablet, and now the Fire Tablet. We also have 2 samsung smartphones. As you can see, we have too much "stuff" for 2 people. But, you can't beat the convience of a tablet and the Fire actually exceeded my expectations. For the price, you should seriously take a look at the device. There are better tablets, but we are happy with the purchase. It is easy to setup and fast. The only issue we experienced was the popup adds.

Amazon makes a great tablet at an affordable price. Its fast & you can add storage via a memory card & also you can add Google play store in 3 simple steps. Why spend a ton of money when you can save.

The best buy store I went to was so professional and nice to me when I got there. The box of the one I originally picked out was damaged so they went to the back and got me a fresh one. They didn't have another of the same color I ordered but that doesn't really bother me as I normally put a hard-wearing case on my electronics anyway. The product itself, there are not enough good things to be said about it. It's intuitive (however Alexa will not work correctly if you do not have internet connection!) and easy to use. Pay close attention to the weight of the case you pick out with this big of a tablet, it can get heavy reading one handed with it and spend a little extra to get a screen protector! This is GLASS!

I've had several Amazon Kindle's. This one is the best one so far. It's very fast. Searches are easy and quick. The battery last a long time too. Very compact. Easy to take to the park or the restaurant.

Gorilla glass, fantastic graphics, great sound, good battery life, strong internet reception and lots of extras. Very pleased with this tablet. Only down side is it's a little heavey. I've been spoiled by my old 8.9 kindle which was half the thickness and weight. All said, this is a beautiful tablet and an excellent price point.
