I purchased this as a gift for my mom. The larger size is perfect for her. I would definitely recommend this product.

I bought the tablet for my 1 yr old son. I like the large screen size and that you can choose a color for the tablet. The price point was affordable for all that it comes with. The tablet is able to store and play a lot of video games and pictures. I would recommend this tablet. I'm more than happy with it.

I bought this to replace an ancient Nexus 7. It blew my mind how amazing this tablet is for the price. Yes, there's a lockscreen ad every time I wake from sleep, but many times it's for something I was interested in anyways thanks to Amazon's algorithms. Plus, once you add the Google Play store (google this, it's so easy) it opens up the device to all the apps I've purchased before.

Yes you can add Google play. It's no big deal to do it and the simple instructions are all over the net. 1080p+ screen pretty loud speakers with a 10.1" screen is a huge bargain by any standard but $100 on sale is a steal. I seriously wonder if it can be manufactured for "1" bill.

My son accidentally cracked the screen to my last tablet took it to the geek squad to get it fixed because I had the warranty but they couldn’t so I used my credit for the amazon fire I love you have to google how to get the android App Store on it but besides no issues

The Fire 10 is a nice little tablet for the money. The screen resolution is pretty good, and it's fast. While it's not as good as an iPad, it also isn't nearly as expensive as an iPad either. The available apps are somewhat limited. But for the average user it should be plenty.

Decent tablet for the money. The screen is easy to read. it is faster than our older 7" Samsung. The speed is appreciably faster. The only complaint my wife has is, that she can't download Google Hangouts. That having been said, The Amazon Fire is an excellent tablet for the money and one would need time to learn to use it to its fullest capability.

This was a gift purchase. The earlier version had stopped working for unknown reason, so purchased this newer version. The screen is very sharp and the available application that run on it are extensive. With the extra capacity, playing Netflix, Amazon, or YouTube videos is fast and easy.

If you've bought into Amazon Prime (...and why wouldn't you ) this is the tablet for you! The screen resolution is fantastic , the processor is fast, and you can add memory via an sd card. The size of the screen isn't as big as a iPad , but it's big enough. For the price you can't beat it.

This is a nice tablet that has the technical capacity to be useful but the user must do a lot of work to realize the full value of this device. First, forget what anyone says about Amazon's ad screens being benign and unobtrusive. It is not true. They are obnoxious, annoying and significantly interfere with the enjoyment of the device. I hope to be able to root that out. First step is to get Google Play onto the device that Amazon, in its infantile business acumen, shuts out of the Fire tablets. Next step is to clear out the Amazon bloatware; that's where I am now. The internet has instructions to do this. The holy grail will be if I can remove the ads after getting all the other Amazon stuff off of there. At that point I will have realized full value for this device. This was a great deal from Best Buy and delivery was fast and efficient. With the above in mind, I can recommend this device and recommend its purchase from Best Buy.

My husband is vision impaired, and was having a very difficult time reading the local news and NY Times on my Samsung Galaxy tablet. The font was never "crisp" enough, and he would accidentally, and frequently, touch areas on the tablet that would cause the page disappear or jump to another section, etc. It was a constant battle for him. After a considerable amount of research and reading customer reviews, I purchased the Amazon Fire HD 10 for his birthday. I preloaded everything he likes to read, and it was ready to go the minute he woke up that day... HE LOVES THIS TABLET! The font is crisp and clean, the tablet easy to navigate, and I don't have to "fix it" for him every ten minutes! Plus it is Alexa connected, so he can just ask a question without having to go to Google. Don't hesitate to purchase this for yourself or another person who needs something that's not too complicated... it is awesome for the price!!!

I upsized my Amazon Fire from a 7 inch to this 10 inch one and the difference is wonderful! Watching Netflix shows is much more enjoyable!

I needed a bigger tablet because of my eyes, and this became available on Deal of the Day. I already had a smaller Fire tablet, and liked the way it worked, so I got this one. So happy I did, as I use it a lot. Easier to read and maneuver around on the internet.

This is a great tablet but there's too many ads that pop up.

Amazon has made one of the best tablets for the price. its up to you if you hate the adds or not.

This tablet is awesome i don’t go anywhere without it super response easy to use. Only thing that i have a problem with is that some of the compatibility app that i can download on other amazon devices don’t work on here. But i can live without them. It’s still awesome

I am an Amazon Prime member so I brought his tablet for benefits audible. It is a great app/service if you just like to relate and Listen. I love to read but I get bored very easily and tend to fall to sleep so this actually works for me. The tablet is self is not like any othe listen. I dont like all the extra apps that come on the tablet (wish it was simple) others may enjoy them... I love The fact you can speak to the tablet I think the Alexa app makes it even more amazing. You can basically just talked to the tablet whereever it is and it responds. If you have more than one Alexa device in your home that may become a problem because they sync together. It’s a pretty good size for its price and very loud. You can also connect to any bluetooth speakers you may have or wireless headphones. If you’re buying this device for a child it is best to establish his or her own email address because whatever content they have on their account will show up on yours if your using the same email address. I also like the fact they come in several different colors.

I love it. It keeps a great charge, & I can keep all of my kindle books, & audio books on it.
