She bought it for school to access ebooks. She loves the large screen and the capabilities of it. Took some trickery to add google play, but it is possible and does not come with it (propriety marketing scheme). Battery life is good but not awesome as the screen is larger than the other models. Got it on sale cause the color is red.

I love the screen quality. I have had no issues with using the tablet except that some apps are not available through the Amazon app

We purchased the Amazon Fire HD as a gift for our son. We initially wanted to purchase a Kindle, but after looking at the Fire HD, decided to buy that instead, because of its versatility. He seems to really enjoy using it as an alternative to his smart phone. It was easy to set up and use and is a more convenient size and less expensive than a laptop

It runs slower than I would like. The best operating system was the dire HD 8.9. Still have it. There is more storage with an ad card. The Amazon app store needs to be updated. You have to side load some apps that are in the Google play store. I like Amazon products, I have the fire stick and dire tv. Alk my movies and apps are avaible on on all of them which is convenient.

I bought this tablet because I had the smaller version and the battery power was not long. I also wanted a backup to my laptop computer in case it expired on me. I pay all of my bills online and wanted a larger screen in order to continue doing this. The battery lasts much longer and the screen is large for me to see well.

A got the fire when it was on sale for $99. It has a beautiful screen and good sensitivity to the touch. The only reason I did not give it five stars is that I am struggling with the menu system and file structure. And I added 128 gig micro SD card to increase memory for storage of photographs And I am having a few problems managing the files. I bet that it is only my lack of experience !

The Fire 10 tablet is the most user-friendly tablet that I have used. It is easier to navigate than my iPad or Samsung tablet, plus it gives me the Alexa functions as a bonus. (All at a bargain price). I realize that Amazon is using this to lure me into their Ecosystem, but I am getting great benefits in the transaction.

For those who know Alexa, this Tablet is Super cool! It has Hands free Alexa by voice and you can actually use it almost exactly like a Echo Show. My wife uses it when her hands are covered in food to look at her recipes. Over all, This was a surprisingly good purchase and for many reasons including the price. A Buck Fifty for a very nice tablet with a great picture and tons of functions and apps available...

I was not sure if this tablet would do the things I like to do in my IPad but it did and it is way less expensive than my IPad .

While the price is much lower than an iPad, the Kindle is amazingly easy to use and covers all the necessary bases from email, to surfing the web and playing audio and videos. Can't find any fault with this item. Just be sure to buy a good cover and/or carrying case. I much prefer this larger model for best visability.

I can tell you that you will absolutely love this tablet!! It's very fast, lots of cool features and Alexa is built into it!!

This is a great purchase even if you own an iPad. I read books on it and don’t need a book reader. Movies; tv shows, and music works great. Easy for those who find computers; iPads difficult and you can still get emails and download games and apps. Great prices for all the Kindle Fires in all the sizes.

A few years ago my wife wanted one of the convertible Windows 10 laptop/tables well fast forward to now and she more wants to be able to use it to supplement her phone when home or in the car. While the windows tablet was great the App's she wanted (specifically games) were not available on it. I knew an Android-based tablet would be best as we are an Android house so to get her an iPad and have another type of ecosystem to manage was not in the cards. You can find all kinds of links to install the Google Play Store on it so she would have access to all the same apps she has on her phone. It also has Amazon's Alexa built in and we are now looking at getting the dock to turn it into a 10" Amazon Show. The build quality is spot on for an Amazon product and my wife loved that it came in multiple colors to pick from. The screen is nice and crisp and the sound while not my home theater it does what it needs to do for its size and function. I liked it so much that when my mother asked about getting a new tablet I told her to get the 8" one for her self.

I love the color of my Kindle, it is red. I use it a lot. I use it to do a few games and read books that I download. It has help me filled a lot of hours since my husband of 45 years passed away. This is my second Kindle, I bought this one because it was bigger and more memory.

I bought it to read books & to read the internet. I can easily see & read the machine & picking out the new books to download has been fun. It is great to take with me to keep up on e=mails & I have downloaded a few fun games , I am not very computer literate but this has been easy & rewarding.

This is a great value and you can't beat the price for the performance. Our family and friends who tried out our tablet cant believe what we paid for it. Ok, it's not as lite a tablet as the much more expensive ones, but it's more than up to the task. We have no issues and battery life is exceptional. Seems fast too.

This is my 4th kindle and I think this is my favorite. I love that it is so much lighter and thinner than the 8 that I have. Graphics are great and the battery so far seems to be lasting long than usual (however I only use it at night as I read before going to bed) It has not disappointed in the least and I love it.

This is simply the best tablet you can buy for this price. The screen is amazing, it's fast and the sound is very good.

This is a great tablet for its price point. I use it as an everyday don’t care if it gets banged up living room tablet.
